Had our cake celebration here. Service was poor. If i was a Japanese sergeant i'd give it a zero but thankfully I'm a regular Malaysian so i give it 2 stars for the food and atmosphere. Or maybe if i was a Japanese i'd get better service? Either-or, the staff needs training.

From the outside it looks less welcoming, but as you walk in further inside the secluded area, ambience turned out to be great, especially at the corner round table facing out towards the window.

I had the unagi kabayaki, my favourite, taste was on point. Green tea ice cream, run of the mill import, great taste. Hot green tea ocha was served in a conical cup? I'm more conventional so would've been better if it was in a japanese ceramic cup.

Delivery of food is incongruent; ordered 7 dishes, 6 came shortly after each other, 1 came much later. This last dish was easily 20mins after the rest came in.

Then we had the cake celebration; plates and forks served - done eating. And told the waiter to pack it back, it was packed improperly. Like really, a 5 years old would've packed it nicer.

So, i do hope that service can be drastically improved at this outlet since the chefs do cook consistent great foods. It's a shame that service staff...

Oh Rakuzen... I had no intention of ever visiting your restaurant chain ever again after the abysmal service I received at one of your other restaurants. However, my family had different plans, and so here we are again.

Service this time around was descent and our food came on time... for the most part. After everything was delivered to the table my meal was still yet to be seen. It would take an additional 15 minutes for it to show up. When it finally did, I realized that I was missing my sushi. Not a problem, I’ll just eat the rest of the meal while I wait, or so I thought. It would take an additional hour for the rest of my meal to be served. Geeze...

The nail in the coffin came when I tried to pay. This restaurant claims that they accept Visa, apparently not. Two of my travel cards with 0% Foreign Transaction Fees failed to go through. My MasterCard with a 3% Foreign Transaction Fee? It went through with out a hitch. What an...

Really disappointed with my recent visit to Razuken SS15. We waited for over an hour for our food, and by then, only one out of all the meals we ordered had been served. When we asked the staff, they said they only had one main chef working — which is honestly unacceptable during peak hours for a restaurant that used to have much better standards.

The service was painfully slow, and when we raised our concerns, the manager or supervisor on duty didn’t seem to care at all. No apology, no effort to reassure us, and definitely no urgency to improve the situation. We ended up cancelling the rest of our orders and leaving after just one meal was served.

To make things worse, the food quality has dropped compared to our past visits — it just didn’t taste the same anymore.

Very disappointing experience overall. Hope the team seriously reconsiders how they manage staffing and service during busy hours. Definitely not coming back...

I have been to this restaurant for many times. My family love it here. It is spacious, clean and the staff are helpful. Sometimes they may be busy, they are still very attentive. The food are always fresh. We love Japanese food and Rakuzen @ Courtyard is one of the rare ones that we keep coming back. One suggestion i have is that the wasabi can be better ✌🏼Today’s wasabi is not meeting my expectation. Overall, Good job to the staff and management ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ !! I did not include all our orders. Time to eat 😂 Looking back to one of our orders here, the CNY lou sang is something that i wish they keep on the menu throughout the year.
