1/10 I am simply disappointed with the dessert that was served at this cafe. We ordered the s’mores bingsu based off the pictures seen online about it but the outcome was below our expectations. First of all, the bingsu did not come with the chocolate bits as shown online. When we asked the staff about it, we were told that they no longer do it that way and the oreo on top is the “chocolate”. Secondly, the torch they used to melt the marshmallow left a bad/toxic kind of aftertaste all over the bingsu. It was very unpleasant and ruined the experience. When we asked the staff about it, he kept on repeating that this is how s’mores should taste. There are many dessert cafes out there that serve s’mores but none of it makes you regret your choices. I had a late dinner here. I ordered yum bowl dakgalbi and mango bingsu. The taste of the rice are not so delicious. The kimchi taste is bitter and the rice is mixed with the seaweed and there’s no taste in it. The taste is came from dakgalbi which is not so tasty to fulfill my craving. Just to fill my tummy then it’s fine. Their bingsu is absolutely delicious and smooth. The ice are tasty and the mango are fresh. The taste of bingsu is so satisfying for those who love the shave ice. The potion are a bit small which is only for one person and the price is standard which is rm26. The service also excellent and fast. The staffs also polite in greating the customers. The surrounding is suitable for those whose chilling while eating the bingsu. The restaurant was a bit hidden behind the escalator and, at first, I could not gind it because there was no signboard with the name 'Hanbing'. Only had sign saying 'Korean dessert'. Their food took a long time to be prepared and served. Ordered Clam bibimbap - it was a bit too oily for me. Am not impressed with their food selection. But am thrilled and delighted with their Ice Bingsu! The best dessert! Tasted the Mango and Blueberry Bingsu. The shaven ice was very nice because I believe it was shaven frozen milk. The desserts were not overly sweet - it was just right. Lots of pieces of fresh mango on the mango one, and there were cheesecake pieces plus whole blueberries in the blueberry one.
