Booked for 10 pax in room on 13/5/2023, 6pm. Arranged in a room upstair.

Ordered first round on 620pm, food not served until 740pm. Asked the waiter who served us, he just said please wait and walked away without apologies specifically the Myanmar guy with nametag start with Thang or Theng, and show annoyed face when asked again. Finally when food served, the Oyster was not fresh and taste weirdly. (thank goodness was refunded on this.) Another fried rice served, tasteless as it taste worst than mamak food. (again, thank goodness was refunded on this) Another Hotpot was served in cold with smallest fire u ever seen. It takes 15 mins and yet to be cook until we complained again and they swapped with another portable gas stove. Asked politely to speak with Manager, but he or she did not take the initiative to come up and explain what happened UNTIL we insisted to speak to the manager, a lady came up and introduced herself as Manager which I doubt. Hired bunch of foreign waitress and waiter to stationed upstair and do not know how to communicate properly with customer. Not sure if act like doesn't understand or really don't understand. Either way, the supervisor should be able to handle matter like this which no action taken until numerous of complains. Overall, food is just OKAY but with such service and long wait, it's just a terrible dine in experience.

In conclusion, will not return to this place anymore as they don't give a F to their customer. In the end still got face to charge 10% service tax for such customer service as a Japanese restaurant. Ha ha ha. Try at...

Good food, if only the service was as good!

When dining with the family ie. with the kids in tow, I would prefer Izakaya due to the casual settings and more varieties to choose from. In fact, we have more choices in the recent years compared to the past.

Ryoshi Izakaya has been popping in my social media account for a while when a friend made it her go-to canteen for unpretentious restaurant serving delicious Japanese food. It's inside was decorated to give that real Japanese dining environment with counter seats as well as wooden tables and chairs. Tanks containing fresh seafood

◾Kaisen Bara Chiraishi no Mini Udon Set - I was able to enjoy a bowl of diced cut fresh sashimi on rice, and then gave the mini udon to the youngest daughter who proceed to polish the bowl. ◾Sake Ikura Oyako Don - salmon, salmon belly and salmon roe in a bowl of rice. Not the best cut of the salmon but the meat was fresh. ◾Sake no Oyako Sanshumori - the same items as the earlier bowl minus the rice. ◾Unagi Kabayaki - nicely grilled but the teriyaki sauce was on the sweet side. ◾Ikura Shoyu Zuke - when the kids couldn't get enough of salmon roe, I had to be order an extra bowl. ◾Yaki Buta - the dish that gave me the most satisfaction that afternoon.

Overall the quality was good although I am not sure if it merits driving all the way (read more than 30 minutes) to Subang Jaya, braving the traffic jam just to eat Izakaya. And the service had so much to improve as we had to contend with less-than-friendly staffs attending to us. If there's a phrase in Chinese, it will be "as if we owe them a...

Worst experience ever. We booked a table for 2 at 7.30pm, we reached around 6.30pm because our schedule is cleared. The staff brought us to our table. Around 7.30pm after we finished our food (still drinking our drinks), one of the staff came and asked us to leave because she claimed that "there's people waiting outside". She immediately bring the bill and asked us to pay and leave. We feel very speechless. Never once in our lifetime that we got kicked out by a restaurant. She was very rude. Impressive service. It's not like we ordered little food, we ordered over 5 dishes for 2 person. We haven't even finished our conversation and we got interrupted by this very well mannered staff asking us to leave. Even if you want us to leave, this is not how you should speak to your customer, speak nicely, have some basic manners. Beware guys, this restaurant will chase customer away. It's not like we sat there for a few hours, we sat there less than 1 hour and they already ask us to leave. There's other tables who went there earlier than us didn't get chased. Not to mention, the food taste awful. The fried rice is horrible. Fried rice is the most basic thing that a Japanese restaurant should do. This is the first time I ate such awful fried rice. Overall is a horrible...
