Beer Mad Bar — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

Food quality dropped (probably changed chef). I’ve went to this place yesterday, which is 15th Oct. Their signature pizza is totally dry, basically whole thing is flour and tasteless. I had to dip chilli sauce to finish my part. They serve lamb cut with SWEET mint sauce which is still “okay” to eat but not for me. I’ve ordered a lamb shoulder but it come out raw and not chewable. After puking out two bites of the mutton despite having nice and healthy teeth, I politely informed the crew saying that the lamb chop is raw and they sent back to kitchen. The next thing is they brought back to me the exact same piece of lamb chop, with just slightly heating up with oven or sizzling with the pan idk. I was like dude, covid season and you heat up the food after customer has already eaten? Okay fine I tried the lamb chop once again, it’s still not chewable! Then I lost my patience and complain to the crew about this again. Guess what, the guy with glasses told me that mutton is SUPPOSED to be like this. 羊肉是这样子的 that’s exactly what he said. Just letting him know how ridiculous he sounded, I questioned him so lamb chop SUPPOSED to be dry and not chewable? Then he brought back the same chop back to the kitchen. After 10 minutes he came back and asked so do I want to cancel the order and choose another dish while my friends already finished the dinner. Please train your staff properly as they are...

The servers are very friendly and can see that they are committed to their job. The setup of the bar is quite woody with interesting contemporary decorative ornaments.

Food was good, but pricey. I enjoyed the bacon mee hoon the most. Followed by the curry pizza and Chinese bacon pizza. My niece ate the fish and chips and was surprised it's not like the usual fried fish served elsewhere - like the frozen ones from the supermarket. The dish was quite feeling and it was a yummy moment 😋😋. Worth the try for fish lovers.

The annoying part was, all the songs sang by the bar band were Chinese (no Offence to Chinese though, I enjoyed Beyond songs), but would have appreciated some English songs to cater for the wider audience.

Happen to join one event on Friday. It was crowded with many mini skirts around. I would say it's a quite successful one. The food tastes ok, drinks are just fine. The price is also quite reasonable.

The only thing that our group is not very happy about it is that the service is not really good. We were being ignored when chasing order. Not sure whether the drinks have been served to another tables or they not really feel like want to serve as it's a free drinks. The waitress's face is so unhappy, when we asked. My face also unhappy when you passed me the next table bills.
