What an unpleasant experience!

Upon entering the restaurant, you are greeted by this oily, greasy stench that emanates from god knows where.

A staff member quickly scurried out of a hole and meekly greeted us - said staff barely understood our order, getting the choice of meal wrong and understanding our order despite us simply pointing to the items that we wanted. And this was when we were the only patrons in the premises - no rush pressure at all. Unacceptable service standards.

The restaurant interior was in an appalling state, with wooden floorboards peeling, tarnished metal surfaces and sticky floors. The toilet flush was not working and the sickly greasy smell seemed to originate from the toilet, much to our concern. There are no standards for hygiene and appearance - i fear for what happens in the kitchen.

The signature spades burger, fries and pork nuggets were tasty and juicy, albeit greasy and reeking of stale oil. Not to mention the exorbitant prices! RM40+ for a burger meal and an additional side.

A real shame and wasted potential for...

I recently had the opportunity to try Spade's Burger in SS15, Subang, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with their pork burgers. This is the only outlet specialising in pork burgers in the area, and it is worth visiting.

The pork burger at Spade's Burger is simply delicious. It is made with high-quality pork that is juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The toppings are simple yet complementary, allowing the pork patty to shine. The buns are also freshly baked and toasted, giving the burger a nice crunch.

Aside from the pork burger, the menu also offers a variety of other burgers, sides, and drinks. The cheese fries were particularly noteworthy, as they were crispy, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned.

I highly recommend Spade's Burger in SS15, Subang, to anyone who loves a good pork burger. The quality of the pork patty, combined with freshly baked buns and simple toppings, makes for a delicious and satisfying meal. It is the perfect place to grab a quick bite or have a casual dinner...

This famous local burger chain has been around for more than a decade! Believe it or not, I managed to give it a try after knowing about it a few years ago 🍔

Ordered: Porkburger Meal 🐖 (RM15.90) Opted for the Weekday Lunch Meal which includes fries and unlimited refill soft drink. Like the other burgers, the pork patty is sandwiched between a charcoal bun that's spread with a tangy and peppery sauce, plus a lettuce leaf and tomato slice.

I found the burger to be thick even though the patty is thin. The patty might look dry from the outside but the juiciness is present once tasted. Bun is fluffy, but I would like to have a toasty aroma.

I can say that this is a solid and affordable pork burger one would get. As for the side, the fries were the only option as I ordered a pork burger.

The atmosphere isn't very pleasant as the environment is messy especially at the back, which was stacked with baskets and boxes.
