10/25 Chicken meat ginger spring onion rice RM11.ok, but needed salt for taste.

5/9/25 Fish and chips using dory (extremely disgusting mushy , melty white jelly thing, coated with batter and deep fried....nothing resembling any flakes or texture of fish.) Initial complaint was ignored and response was " itu biasa". It took an old man to patiently complain then was served a dish which actually broke apart like how fish should. RM17. Would not repeat ever.

22/7 Miso Katsudon rice RM12.80 Fried pork with dark sweet sauce + seaweed flakes , julienned danmuji, egg roll on lots of rice. Very nice operator, but prefer chicken.

Mushroom pasta RM13 Very creamy and rich.

RM6.80 for barley ice and sugar cane ice

20/7/25 Bibimbap RM13.80 huge bowl, loads of rice. Gochujang sauce very sweet. Not enough kimchi. Won't reorder

16/7/25 Chinese omelette batter cake w Ham RM9.90? Lots of crunchy lettuce, raw onion, green onion, some chicken ham, large 2 pieces, fresh tasting but no sauce. Only for those who enjoy clean tasting/ wanna lose weight type food.

Auntie Seremban Lou Shi Fun RM10 2 types of balls : homemade meatball and fishball. 2 each? Very oily, dark soy sauce, chewy noodle. Nice vendor, polite and served immediately.

Spaghetti alio Olio RM12.90? Crunchy bell pepper, mushroom, nice but unexpectedly too spicy. Next time must say no chilli flakes or a lot less.

Updated 9/3/25. Haven't been back in a year. Service is very bad....within minutes, staff dragging off dirty dishes splashed dirty water all over my feet, no apologies. Another one brought leaking PP cup, table and we got showered with sticky juice...asked the staff to poke the straw in himself, half contents split all over the table 😔 thankfully he changed for us or RM4.60 gone.

Hot Lemon tea RM3.90 Sugar cane ice RM4.60 (Takeaway PP cup) Porridge pork and deep fried innards RM9 Small. Turns out to be a large bowl, need to add more soy sauce and pepper. Hokkien Mee RM10. Used to be ok, now terrible. Very dry. Not repeating.

Parking is difficult during peak hours, but they open until late at night, even CNY!

Lots of choices, ranging from Japanese, Chinese, Thai to satay, waffles and even Bak kwa buns. The Ipoh chee cheong fun is a huge miss. Chicken rice has its good and bad days but is extremely cheap. Prawn Mee is tasty but pricier than most places. Japanese donburi is failsafe, cheap and filling. Soup+rice is pretty good but served with a sour face 😁

Ipoh Curry Mee tastes old school, we like it...the taste of curry powder, red chilli oil without boxed santan. RM13 for this bowl with roasted pork. Dai chou is popular, their luncheon meat fried rice is so easy to eat....just tar pau this when you are too sian with life. Little cubes of luncheon meat, rice a little sweet, don't have to 🤔 Today I had the Mongolian chicken RM11...in radioactive orange..looks like chicken Tikka masala. Sauce is very thick and creamy, spicy with red cut chilli and likely ketchup. Chai kuih seems new...sengkuang was mushy. Chives were salty and just eww. RM5 for 3.

Hokkien Mee was ok but very small amount. Bacon herb carbonara looked better than it tasted. Updated 25/8/24: "Creamy" spaghetti with bacon RM14 - so much nicer! Will order again. Takeaway cups for soya bean and iced tea RM8.50

Kungpo chicken rice was awful. Needed cili padi and soy sauce to make it edible. Strange tasting, sourish and nothing like what kungpo chicken should taste like. Having ordered from this dai chou many times already, am guessing that the cook is foreign as the dishes don't...

Dropped by usually for their very good hand-brewed teh. The teh c here is just fabulous with a good balance between the strong black tea and evaporated creamer. You can take it sugar free as well if you so want to. Tip: the kopi peng is equally awesome! There's a slew of really nice stalls here but you may need to wait during peak hours due the sheer volume in back orders. The Dry Curry noodles is also really good with a complementary bowl of curry soup and pork rind. Not a bad thing as long as they can maintain consistency.

I came here this time round after lunch around the area to doggy bag some reputedly good authentic Penang Apom Balik which local foodies have been raving about. Most of the time, it's a miss on my part as the stall has already sold out. And based on the waiting times due to the back order, yes, it is really good. I got the standard ones with the banana slices. It is, really good. Will I come back for more? Yes, if I happen to pass by again with time to kill. Highly recommended all the same.

Return trip: Dropped by on a late Sunday morning for some late brunch and decided to give the Penang themed Char Keow Teow stall a go after hearing much raving from some foodie friends and I was not disappointed. Do be prepared to wait a bit for your order as the stalls fries each order individually unless you have dual orders of the same item. The dish is customisable which allows chilli adverse kids to enjoy this hawker staple as well. The stall is generous with their oversized blanched cockles which are not over-cooked which are bonus points for them. There's a good balance of shrimp, cockles, chives, beansprouts, and chilli paste used in the dish. The egg IMO is optional but most people will ask for it. Would I come back for this again? To my kids who really enjoyed the CKT, a definite yes at least in...

Nice and clean food court restaurant with food from over 20 stalls to choose from. Most of the stalls accepts cashless e-payment systems.

Food stalls to look out for: Ipoh Prawn & Chicken Hor Fun (in my opinion the most outstanding stall among the 20 stalls. Bone broth is boiled until milky white color, chicken is fresh and boiled daily, good size peeled fresh water prawns, and topped with the super aromatic prawn oil. One taste is all you need to come back for more. Owner works very fast to rapid deliver high volume orders. Taste can fight with Ipoh shops head on. The stall is the same branding as the viral MJ Wang Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun in Seapark, taste and quality control is identical. Downside is may have to wait up to 30mins during peak hours due to high volume orders)

Popiah (Best popiah in Subang area, generous portion and not stingy, price is reasonable and filling. Downside is may have to wait 30mins during peak hours because the owner works alone)

Penang Apom Balik (Two brothers operated Penang styled apom balik, taste is good and reasonable price, may have to wait because they prepare every batch fresh upon order)

Taste of Siam Thai food (Operated by thai couple bosses, nice authentic thai taste, try their kuey chap and pork leg rice. They also sell mango sticky rice. Downside may have to self collect, they give you the beep beep device to notify when your order is prepared)

Coffee drinks (thick and kaw coffee, price is slightly higher due to sealed cups packaging but anytime more affordable than starbucks)

Other stalls ... meh.. Curry Mee (worst of all, dirty stall) Wantan Mee (make yourself at home better) Prawn Mee (no penang taste and stingy in soup)

Overall good seating and outdoor seating available, very cooling in the morning. with...

Located conveniently near schools, a bustling LRT station @ss15, and nestled within the heart of the neighborhood, this kopitiam is a culinary haven for those craving authentic Malaysian food. As frequent customers, my family and I have come to adore this cozy spot for its delectable offerings, accessible location, and welcoming ambiance. Upon stepping into the kopitiam, one is immediately enveloped in the comforting aromas of Malaysian cuisine. The menu boasts a delightful array of local favorites, each dish prepared with care and expertise. Our go-to orders never disappoint – from the savory char kueh teow and hearty pork noodles to the aromatic curry mee and delightful seaweed rolls or popiah, every bite is a nostalgic reminder of the rich culinary heritage of Malaysia. Recently, I had the pleasure of trying the chicken hor fun, and it exceeded all expectations. The flavorful broth paired perfectly with the tender chicken and silky smooth noodles, leaving me craving more long after the meal was over. And let's not forget about the fruit rojak, fried chicken & crunchy chicken skin!!! – a refreshing treat that perfectly balances sweetness and tanginess. Despite its popularity, this kopitiam manages to maintain reasonable prices, making it accessible to all. Even during peak hours, when the kopitiam is bustling with activity, finding a table is never an issue, provided you dine in after the rush hours of lunch and dinner. Another convenience is the kopitiam's acceptance of various payment methods, including TnG, MBB, and other e-wallet options, ensuring a hassle-free dining experience. Only disadvantage is that, they dont serve chinese tea at night…. ✌️
