Restaurant Teck Lai — Restaurant in Terengganu

Just came back fr Redang and was really looking forward to Chinese Food. The food here was surprisedly delicious. (Maybe I was too hungry as I misses breakfast) We ordered the sweet sour pork, fried sotong, soup (yummy radish pork) fish and veg. It is a hidden gem, i tot I went in the back way but actually thats the front 🤣 Waze for the location but park along the road before reaching it. Turn left into the small lane before reaching the China Town road ya 😊✌🏻

Nice traditional Chinese dai Chou (restaurant) that serves home-cooked dishes. The kind of home-cooked taste that modern Chinese restaurants lacking as they use simple common ingredients. It has been years since I last visited Kuala Terengganu and the taste of the cooking and the nostalgic environment remains, it bought many memories. Probably one of the most under rated restaurant in Terengganu well hidden in the back streets of kampong Cina aka Chinatown.

If you are someone who is looking for some old time charm and with a nonchalant vibe this is the place to be in.

Good food, good company and no doubt you be leaving with contentment with their food quality, taste and lastly the price.
