Food Ring (21) — Restaurant in Malé

Mean, mean place. I did not eat much food. Just some fish and dhall and vegetables. Came here as I saw the oranges. As I waited for the fish I ate some tiny cut orange pieces. There was a hair on the plate of oranges. I asked for them to do something. They took the plate away and refused to bring out the oranges whilst I was there. Only got two eat about two tiny oranges. The pieces they cut were so small. Frugal money hungry place. A buffet that one can't eat as much as one likes as they don't have much choice, and then they remove the best thing. If you compliment them on the curry or food, they don't even say thank you. Service with a snarl. And, oranges don't cost as much as the amount of food the local men were eating. Huge mountains of food. Mean, Mean peoples... Oh, and before I ate here, I asked how much was the food. They said 65 ruffiah. They should honestly say the total I will pay! This is 77.22 ruffiah. Finally I was still eating and drinking. Woman thumped down the bill. I said I never asked for the bill. She still left it there. In just over one week this has happened three times throughout the Maldives. We're the peoples here born...

The best Indian food is available here at Food Ring, daily breakfast, Lunch, and Donner buffet along with the Ala Carte menu of great selection. The butter chicken masala is recommended here. Also, the Hyderabad biriyani at Food Ring is something never to miss.

The Lunch buffet is an excellent idea as for the office workers who go out for a quick meal this is the best option as the selection is very balanced and appetizing. The lunch buffet starts at noon 12:00 and goes until 14:00.

From morning 7:00 am to 11:00 breakfast buffet is on for those who are looking for a nice breakfast with Maldivian and continental selections. The breakfast buffet consists of Mas’huni, Kulhimas, and roshi as well as poori and disku at times. Two juices available at all the buffet is also a great way to make the best selection of what will be available at the buffet.
