ADORE Maldives — Local services in Malé

I don’t usually post reviews but I think Adore Maldives deserves one for making our Maldives trip perfect.

When I started researching about Maldives last year, it was exciting at first then it got overwhelming as there were too many resort options, mode of transport to get to the resort, platforms to book from, spending lots of time reading up reviews and from there I kinda get a picture of how it works but felt very drowned by the options I have. While researching, ‘travel agencies’ popped up and i reached out to 4 of them. All replied but Adore Maldives stood out amongst them.

I actually scheduled a call to brief them what I have in mind and the resorts that I thought was nice based on online research. Most of them reverted just accordingly to what I wanted but Adore was the only agency that highlighted their honest opinions on my choices and I appreciate it so much. That’s how we decided to proceed with Adore despite cheaper packages offered from others.

Since day 1, Jazz from Adore already made me felt taken care of. Jazz was very patient in understanding what I want from my trip such as budget, room type, meal plan, activities and from there they’ll propose a few options. And out to my surprise, it is an unbeatable price compared if I book myself online.

What I love about Adore is that to them, it’s quality over quantity, never once I felt them being ‘pushy’ trying to close a deal but they genuinely wanted us to have our dream trip come true. They also will not recommend the resort if they personally have not experienced it so if it’s a resort that Adore recommended, it is quite satisfaction guaranteed. For our trip, we chose Finolhu Baa Atoll.

When we arrived, Jazz & Saif from Adore, together with resort reps were waiting for us in arrival hall. Jazz even prepared a beautiful bouquet of flowers for us, it was so so sweet and kind of them. As soon as we met them, they took care of everything, from luggages to seaplane check ins to departure of seaplane and arrival of resort. Everything was perfectly organised and arranged.

Finolhu Baa Atoll was exactly what Jazz has told us before and we’re glad we trusted them. We were so well taken care of from everyone in the resort. Rooms are beautiful, food is good, beautiful beaches. And most importantly, the people there. It’s a 5 star resort with 6 star hospitality.

Adore’s service didn’t end in arrival hall. They also met us in Male after we check out from resort and Saif from Adore organised a day tour in Male to show us around, tell us about the history of Maldives, tell us about his childhood growing up here, the people here and we love it so much because Maldives is more than just resorts and beautiful beaches. It’s the people and culture too.

Saif from Adore also helped us with all departure processes and send us right up to departure gate. Not forgetting Adore also prepared another gift for us when we leave.

Our trip was one of the best trip we had and mainly because of Jazz & Saif from Adore. Because of them, we literally just pack our bags and as soon as we arrive Male, everything was well taken care of.

Adore Maldives, not just impeccable service, they really go extra mile for their guest and trust me, they are second to none!

The resort is amazing, surrounded by a coral reef with spectacular marine life that can be experienced daily just a few steps from your room. The white sand, palm trees and turquoise waters are beautiful. We stayed in a sunset villa on the beach, but you may prefer the villas over the ocean. Our villa felt like a private home, exquisitely decorated in calm tones and with every modern convenience. A private pool, lounge chairs by the pool and the beach, a huge bathroom with shower overlooking the ocean. Really private and cozy. We took yoga sunset and sunrise classes with Nandini and Nabin, we used the gym daily, also did water aerobics in the main pool. We sailed in a catamaran. We played paddle with Marcos, who is the friendliest instructor ever. We went on a snorkeling complimentary tour with one of the marine biologist on site and saw thousands of colorful fish. If you like diving you can see mantas, turtles and sharks that do not attack humans. Their restaurants are superb, we had the full board package, so breakfast lunch and dinner were included. We ate different locally caught fresh fishes daily, also crab, scallops, lobster, etc. The main restaurant was our favorite, it’s called Canelli, we saw dolphins while having breakfast. Lalith who is in charge was always asking about our dining experiences. They have a junk food restaurant which you could order from all day called JFK and an Asian restaurant called Kashibo. They are all super good. And we didn’t tried the underwater restaurant but heard from other guest that is amazing. Hurawalhi will not disappoint, it’s private, beautiful and the perfect honeymoon destination in the Maldives. We tried the couples massage at the Spa and really enjoyed it. Flora, who we met by chance as we ask her to take our picture, gave us a fantastic tour of the island as we told her we were interested in their sustainability efforts, the resort uses solar panels, grows their own vegetables and fruits and the fish is mostly fresh caught. She was so kind and knowledgeable and we are very grateful to have met her. Your villa comes with a hostess/butler that helps you coordinate your activities, sports, dinner reservations, etc., we were lucky to have Zaha as ours, she is into every detail and even went with us on the boat ride to the seaplane platform to say goodbye. All the employees here are all in your team, making sure you have the best experience everyday. Friendly faces that greet you and are ready to provide services. We booked trough Adore Maldives, and Jazz is a superstar, she answered all my questions and received us in the airport with flowers. Definitely will book...

They are registered and official travel agency, and thanks to Shanoon's work done in the past, it seems that they have excellent connections and arrangements with hotels on offer that a normal travel agency can only dream about. Adore Maldives for us is definitely number 1 to go to if you are looking for an customized and special vacation. I would highly recommend Adore Maldives for any type of package as our experience was wonderful and idyllic with Adore Maldives and Ja Manafaru.
