I had the pleasure of dining at Salt Café and Restaurant for lunch, and it was a delightful experience overall. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the breathtaking rooftop view, which added a unique and memorable touch to the meal.

The food was enjoyable, and I opted for their set menu, which offered a variety of dishes including beef, chicken, and fish. Each dish was well-prepared and satisfying, complemented by a drink and dessert that rounded off the meal nicely. The flavors were good, and the portion sizes were appropriate.

The staff service was commendable—friendly, attentive, and efficient. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, contributing to a pleasant and comfortable dining atmosphere.

Overall, my experience at Salt Café and Restaurant was very positive. The combination of great food, excellent service, and the stunning rooftop view made for a wonderful lunch. I would rate it a 4 out of 5 and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good dine-in experience...

it has arguably the best atmosphere among any eateries in Malé; the view is phenomenal, the place is spacious and airy, there is an open air patio as well as an air-conditioned area for those who prefer that, and the range of food on the menu is pretty decent. YET, you simply cannot get service in this place. I have had to physically knock on the staff room door to get somebody out to take my order. I also only got my menu after minutes of waiting since there was no member of staff in the vicinity at all. After you get the food, you begin to notice how overpriced it is, and it is even worse with the drinks, because the in-house drinks taste...

We stopped for a dinner at new years evening. Great food and really good service (great thanks to Jason). We made a table booking via our hotel so no problems on that and we got one of the best tables at the roof top. View was also for me one of the best in male's restourants. So for me there is absolutely no reason why you shouldnt go and enjoy at least a refreshing fresh juice over looking the harbour aria. Good to keep in mind that many times the staff is treating you in the way that you deserve so if your face is up side down already when you sit at your table it might be that you shall not face the best possible service...
