Belle Amie Bistro — Restaurant in Malé

We had an order of their Chicken Madras, Butter Chicken and a Watermelon Sizzler. Special dietary requirements such as no onions in the Butter Chicken and a spicy Madras were no problem.

If you are from Europe, such as our humble selves, don't be fooled by the ordinary names of the dishes, as they are anything but. This has been the most exquisite food experience I ever had in a restaurant serving Indian cuisine and even the best Indian restaurant I tried in London, Berlin etc. pales in comparison. The Sizzler was truly refreshing and complemented the dishes very nicely.

Hi Bella Amie Team, I am a South Asia head of a MNC. I had a terrible experience at your restaurant Bella Amie of Somerset Hotel in Male Maldives. During lunch, we were served a dal that was half full in the served bowl. When we asked the chef (name) he started being impolite and said the dal was complimentary. One of the best places to dine. Great atmosphere. The staff are really nice and very cheerful. Food here has been nothing but excellent. And so are the drinks too. Specially the mocktails. And they make one of the best burgers in the city. If you're ever here, do try the Somerset Burger. Be warned, it is quite large and can get a bit messy. But it is absolutely delicious.
