D’ Olive — Restaurant in Malé

Ripoff STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! Not only that their prices are INSANE the food is really disgusting! We've ordered 3 pizzas and 1 portion of fries. The minuscule portion of fries was edible, but the pizzas were hideous. The dough contained more sugar then sugar cookies with a few bits of strange meat and fake cheese which was also extremely sweet. Upon asking for some chilly oil we were rudely told no there is your chilly sauce which was store bought sweet and chilly ketchup with almost no heat at all... not to mention that we've ordered Spicy ones... And for all this they charged us over 110$ which is simly outrageous when a seafood platter in way better restaurants costs aroud 80$. Run as far away from these scammers...

I was craving pizza, but since Olive Garden doesn't offer it by the slice for solo diners, I decided to order a burger instead. Unfortunately, the burger was served cold, which really impacted the flavor and overall enjoyment of the meal. The food had so much potential to be delicious. On a positive note, the ambiance was lovely, and my waiter was fantastic—very attentive and made me feel well taken care of, especially as a woman...

I was deeply disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. They blatantly discriminate against foreign tourists by providing a different menu with significantly higher prices, solely based on a local's word. This dishonest practice is not only unethical but also leaves a bad taste long after the meal. I would caution anyone against dining here unless they wish to be unfairly...
