Dr. Juice Gzira — Restaurant in Gżira

This juice bar was an awesome find near our hotel in Sliema. After a long day of travel, we were a bit delirious and indecisive. After picking up a few bits of heavy street food we stumbled upon Dr. Juice and reckoned we could use a juice pick-me-up. The staff were great, very patient and smiley even though we were taking ages to order, chatting with a few locals who popped in while we were studying the very delicious menu. We went back a second time and were met with the same lovely faces (forgive me ladies as I lost the note with your names!) The manager and another staff member were on...If you are the owner and are reading this, please give them praise as they gave us the best service! They even recommended some great places to see, visit and eat for our stay. And of course the smoothies we ordered were delicious, healthy, and not too expensive. The rest of the menu looks amazing but we unfortunately didn't have time to return for a meal. When we return to Malta we will definitely find Dr. Juice...

The food is excellent, the organisation and work flow needs some attention. I ordered and was asked to wait in a tiny area with half a dozen other customers. I asked if I could wait outside. They said order would be 15 mins. I came in after 8 minutes as most people before me had left. I noticed a bag on top of counter. 10 minutes later, the gentleman serving picked up.the bag and called my name. I objected to the bag having been cooking for at least 10 minutes. He said they had called once. I reminded him I had said I would wait outside but observed I had been back for 10 minutes while they just left bag there and did not ask again.The food was no longer hot do I asked for a refund which was given. I have eaten here a number if times and they really do need to address waiting areas and getting food to patrons. The food is good but let down by like...

Two stars only because of the friendly waitresses in the morning during weekdays… But please don’t drop in at 9 am on Sundays. All these working men are overwhelmed with the orders or with the tasks they have to do. Firstly, I needed to wait till someone came to me and took my order. Secondly, they served a cold flat white coffee! It smelled like water. Thirdly, they confused my orders and brought me one take away order to my table. Fourthly, they have completely forgotten that I still paid for one snack bar… Fifthly, the cook couldn’t prepare the boss omelette properly, it was used maybe only one egg that’s why the omelette was so thin, but it costs a fortune, around 12 euros! My Sunday morning could start much better by avoiding...
