Regular customer for several years here. Today, I requested chicken cut fresh from the skewer rather than from the container on the cooktop, as I have done many times before. The container meat has very noticeably different texture and flavor. It tastes old and reheated, while the skewer meat is much better and actually tastes like chicken. This is a standard request at Turkish kebab shops, I never had an issue at any other kebab store. Here, the situation was different. The cook became visibly upset at this request, gave me contradictory information about whether the meat was fresh, and became increasingly hostile when I tried to clarify that I want the fresh cooked meat. He told me contradictory things, first the meat was fresh, then it was not fresh, while being extremely rude. For €8, requesting freshly cooked meat from the skewer is a reasonable expectation. I've been a loyal customer for several year, but the rudeness and resistance to this basic request was extremely disappointing and...

Finally a kebab again after a long time! Everything is fine in terms of price. You can choose between chicken, lamb and mixed meat. There's plenty to choose from when it comes to salads, but you're limited to three. I would like to see a garlic sauce, but the others are also very tasty. The staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome as a guest. All in all, ideal for a quick snack...

My second time to visit Istanbul, I like that they serve not only meat but also fish options. The fish was well prepared, very fresh, and tasted just amazing. You can choose from various salads, up to 4 per plate, most dishes are also served with fries and there is a small basked of bread pitas which you receive. You will definitely not be hungry 😀 the spicy sauce...
