If there was a way to give it more than 5 stars, I would! We have been there multiple times and every time it felt like being invited to a friend’s house and eating the Chinese home food cooked by the friends mother. Anyone looking for authentic Chinese food should visit this place at least once. Although everything on the menu is suuuuuper delicious, I highly recommend the Chinese pork burger, You Po Mian, dumplings, and baozi. Everything is freshly made and you can see your noodle being freshly prepared by the hands of ‘the mother’ (one of the kindest person with the most heart warming smile ever). On top of the food, the place is always kept clean, the service is friendly, homely, and will make you feel at home once you step foot in the shop. If you are in Gzira, please please please don’t miss out on this place. So grateful to the people at the shop for bringing real, delicious, Chinese food to Malta, and always welcoming us with warm and kind hospitality. One advice if you are going to the shop as a large group, let them know beforehand because they prepare everything fresh upon order. Can’t wait to go...
Read moreNow this place is a must visit. You already know it’s gonna be good and authentic Chinese food if Chinese people go to have dinner here. Not only were these the most amazing hot oil noodles I ever had, but the owners are literally the sweetest people on earth. They have three vegetarian options for main course and starters and everything is quite cheap for Malta. We spent together a total of 30€ for a shared starter, two drinks and two main course meals. If you do not know where to eat and do not want a touristy food experience for overpriced mediocre meals, please do yourself and this restaurant a favor and give them a try. You will not regret it and you will walk out with a happy...
Read moreI am coming to this restaurant for years. After seeing the last review from the lady A.F. (Who btw goes quite generous when it comes to giving 1 star reviews to places/services) I said… this cant be true. Gonna have to check this out for myself.
Yes, the owners have changed, and yes, maybe some intredients have changed as well - but I still dont think you have to go so harsh on these lovely people in Xi-Shi.
I agree, it is a little more weatery than it used to be, but thats what feedback is for. You can speak to them and ask for a less watery version next time.😉
The hot oil noodle there is still a top dish and its popular among both tourist and locals.
I havent been able to make a picture as I finished mine in no time - it was absolutely delicious, and definitely...
