We had a lunch booking on 23/12 at 12:30pm and were looking forward to dining at this restaurant. Sachin, a staff at reception showed no acknowledgment upon our arrival, merely waving his hand to guide us to our table. Throughout the meal, there was no eye contact or engagement. Strangely, he acted as if he were the manager, displaying unprofessional behaviour by shouting at a waiter in front of customers.

The chicken and mushroom pizza we ordered were extremely dry, and the mushrooms were oddly chewy. The four seasons pizza was too salty. The only thing that we enjoyed were the cocktails and juice.

At some point, a persistent and painfully loud smoke detector alarm went off for at least 5 minutes, adding to the overall unpleasant dining experience.

When he presented the bill, Sachin dropped it on the table without saying a word.

We wanted to speak to the manager but he was away so we communicated our dissatisfaction to Sachin, expressing our concerns about the overall experience. He failed to offer any apology for the subpar service or address the issues raised.

We have no intention of returning to this...

Utterly forgettable and disappointing. Sure, when you arrive there and experience the beautiful view over the harbour, the place seems promising enough.

Disappointment begins with the service: in spite of adequate staff numbers, the waiters always appear in a rush and not entirely focused on their work. There is barely any smile or greeting and they are not attentive to patrons, it is very difficult to get their attention.

I went there because L'Artista advertised a special offer for pizzas which appeared promising. It all fell flat when my pizza arrived and had no balsamic vinegar whatsoever - even though the advertised pictures of "Balsamic Mushroom and Goat Cheese Pizza" clearly showed balsamic vinegar to be drizzled atop the pizza slices. Such was my disbelief that I had to ask the waiters if they had not perhaps mixed up my order.

The cooks were way too liberal with their use of goat cheese, making the pizza very liquid and near impossible to eat. Only the crust felt crispy, while the base and everything else felt soggy.

For the price paid, definitely not...

I apologize for my TripAdvisor reviews. Despite still being worth €80 for 5 people, it was good. I ordered a risotto, which I found small, my favorite item, the mozzarella sticks, and my favorite drink, Red Bull. I recommend formal attire despite being in casuals that day, being a Friday. Unfortunately, the menu is limited, and the atmosphere is weird and wacky, in my opinion, with very colorful artwork and everyday music, but the balcony makes up for it, which I recommend. The waiter was kind to me, being my birthday (2.5.2025), more specifically my 13th, taking into account my Man City jersey and asking me about the next fixture, and if they'll win (they won 1–0 over Wolves and I support Man City). I would avoid Friday evenings along with Saturdays. The food is decently sized, but it has been downsized in a teenager's POV from my 3 years going there. The parking situation: park on the 3rd floor (4th if you're American) and avoid a...

Went recently. It is my go-to restaurant whenever i am in Port Louis. Staff are always very welcoming and lovely. However, lately, whenever i went and ordered pasta, they only had spaghetti and tagliatelle, which is a bit deceiving. I ordered a fettucine beef bolognese. It was okay, but the only thing that bugged me was it had way too much parsley. I love parsley, but it was definitely too much this time. Also ordered a four seasons pizza, but the egg was completely cooked on it. As starters, i had the mozzarella sticks, you cant really go wrong with cheese, but again, the sauce lacked flavour it tasted bland. I hope they put a bit more effort into the food preparation because i really love to eat there.
