0 star I would prefer to give. Very rude the staff who served us today. The time booked was 12.30 and we were on time. At the door the girl came and said in a loud voice “ it’s for the 8 person” your booking was at 12 which we disagreed and no welcoming beside looking at us with an angry face, no smile since we got in and out. Very disappointing at the entrance. She let us to go to the table by ourselves. Once seated, I got a broken seat which I changed. When we started to order, one of my colleagues preferred to go with the main entrance directly and the girl said order the main course first still in a bad manner tone of voice. A big thanks to the receptionist Sumaiya who watches all scene and came in to help us with the orders. We were all very happy with. Once again, the girl started to shout at the receptionist and tells her to go back to her place and let the indian boy to take the order. Very very disappointing. Most of the food we wanted to order she keep saying “pena sa” if I remember for almost four plates there were not and we wanted to order, which left us with no big choice. We had to order few of the curry again as we were not told that it would be less for all of us. The girl has the audacity to come and ask us if we order again, we say yes and she asked again very rudely if the order has given already. I am sure if the order was to be given to her, she would have said again it’s over. On one side, the food we ordered was very good, You have a great cook. We ordered mojito for all of us. Almost when we were still eating and talking, both the girl and the indian boy started to come and took off our plate infront of us, WITHOUT asking us once if we had finished or not! We had no choice to take to go the remaining food on the plate served to us. At last we ordered again the mojito drink. She said again in a loud voice “pena mojito in fini” Wow the very best bad experience ever happened to us. Better to train your staff how to be polite and teach them how to welcome your guest. Your food is not great without a good attitude in your staff. Again won’t recommending this place to anyone after what happened today. We were out there today for a Business meeting lunch. Last, soon we went out from this restaurant, the girl went out too with her bag. We could clearly understand that we were being pushed out and thats why by telling us pena pena so many times. No value for money your...
Read moreFirstly, there's not even a doorknob to enter the place! We had to wait 5min before a waitress noticed us and sheepishly came to open the door with an embarrassed smile. Then we waited 15min, just to get the menu. (We were waiting for other people, that's why we didn't mind, but still) No one even came to assist us, until the owner, I think, finally saw that we didn't even have a menu. The cover of the menu was even detached from the pages, "decapotab". Let's not even talk about ordering. We had to leave the table and go talk to the old lady with the tomboyish haircut who was sitting by her desk to finally take our orders cos no one came to our table. Food was nothing special, but the service and the place itself, terrible. Hands down worst restaurant...
Read moreMy recent visit to Le Perfum d'Orient was a downright disaster. Imagine my horror when I found a disgustingly long hair in my food. But that's not the worst part – when I confronted the waiter about it, they had the audacity to blame me, a hijabi, for a hair that clearly wasn't mine!
As if the hair fiasco wasn't enough, the food itself was a putrid mess. The stench alone could make your stomach turn, and the taste was an insult to anyone with functioning taste buds.
This is beyond the worst restaurant experience; it's a gross violation of basic hygiene and customer respect. Perfum de Orient, you've not only lost a customer, but you've gained a vehement detractor.
Save yourself the frustration and steer clear of Perfum...
