Paradise Corner — Restaurant in Isle Mauritius

While looking for a great breakfast today, we came across Paradise Corner through Google reviews. As for the location, it didn't have much in common with a paradise. There was a lot going on on the adjacent street and it was just all very loud. When the drinks arrived, I wasn't sure at first whether I was getting my iced cappuccino or a milkshake. The color didn't have much to do with coffee, and unfortunately, neither did the taste. The juice was unfortunately nothing special. When the food arrived, I thought that everything would be fine now. It looked just as great as in the pictures. Unfortunately, it only tasted mediocre. In our opinion, the waffle is not particularly large, as other reviews suggest. And the granola was simply far too sweet with not too much fruit.

We also had our most expensive meal of our 12-day trip here. ~1400 Mur for two drinks, a waffle and a granola.

Never a fan of leaving a bad review. I feel I need to advise locals and tourists to avoid this restaurant.

Most drink items were unavailable at 10am. We were advised that the breakfast would be ready in 20mins. Our food server did not mention any delays otherwise but proceeded to leave the restaurant to go and buy the ingredients to cook.

Our food arrived more than 1 hour after ordering. The food was subpar for the price. We paid AUD65 for two meals and two non-alcoholic beverages. Very overpriced and would not recommend.
