Navigating the food scene in Mauritius can be tedious, in particular, if you are someone with food allergies. That's why I've been coming back to Maison de Crêpes for over a year because they thoroughly understand the intricacies that go into great customer service. Moreover, this is the only cafe on the island where I know that my dietary restrictions will be understood/considered, I'll be checked on, the food will be amazing, and reasonably priced. To make it better, they sell regular food items, in additional to allergen-friendly, so that everyone can enjoy great meals and warm hospitality....

This crêperie is a hidden gem! The crêpes are absolutely divine — thin, golden, and perfectly cooked with generous, flavorful fillings. Whether you're craving something sweet or savory, every bite is satisfying and thoughtfully prepared.

What truly impressed me was the variety of vegan options — not just available, but genuinely delicious and creative. It's rare to find a spot that caters to plant-based eaters this well without compromising taste.

I'd found this restaurant via HappyCow, so I knew they had vegan options. I visited here late Wednesday afternoon for a sweet treat. I asked about vegan options and was given a whole separate menu with choices. Later, my brother's family joined me, and the server/ owner allowed them to wait without ordering. We also ordered a panini for my Dad to take away, and the owner/server happily accommodated his dietary needs.

There are roughly 5 tables inside and they also support a local animal initiative.
