I recently visited a Trojan Horse that surpassed my expectations, even though it was understaffed due to the holidays. Despite the shortage of personnel, the food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was incredible.
The staff, although limited in numbers, greeted us warmly and made us feel valued as guests. The atmosphere was inviting, with tasteful decor and cozy lighting that enhanced our dining experience.

Read moreIf you are craving authentic Greek cuisine, look no further. This place is the place! From the moment you arrive, the owner Mr. Vasyl (if I have spelled his name correctly) embodies the spirit of Greek hospitality. He will expertly guide you through your dining experience, making you feel like a welcomed guest.
As always, we opted for a selection of meze to share – we wanted to sample everything on the menu! The hummus was utterly divine, bursting with flavor. The tzatziki was impeccably fresh and tangy. We also ordered the Keftedes, which were simply superb. While they appeared slightly dry at first glance, the inside was incredibly tender and succulent. Our absolute favorite? The Cajun chicken livers. They are the best on the island, hands down. We also shared a classic Greek salad, featuring a generous slab of genuine feta – perfectly salty and creamy. The shawarma strips were a touch dry, but still enjoyable. Finally, for dessert, we ventured into the unknown with the mosaiko. I was initially hesitant, but it proved to be a revelation! The perfect combination of rich dark chocolate and crunchy nuts. The menu description boasts that it is enough to drive the gods crazy, and it did!
The only slight hiccup? Be a little patient with the front-of-house service. They have a new team, and they are still finding their rhythm.
Overall, I give this place a resounding 100%...

We were a party of 9 to dine here and it was a disappointment at best. It is not about the authenticity of the food, the cooking of meals receive zero efforts. I took lamb chops, they were not tender to say the least. Not undercooked, not dry. But you need to have the teeth of a tiger to be able to eat the cops. They were too hard to eat and also greasy. I only grilled lamb chops once in my life and they were much tastier and tender.
The staff was also not professional. My in-law ordered a salad and received a raw fish skewer. I ordered vegetables as a side to my lamb chops and when I saw potato wedges on my plate, I told the server that was not what I ordered. He flat out “corrected” me that the vegetables were not available despite asking me in the first place if I wanted veggies and potato wedges. He could have told me that it was no longer available and not scolding me as if I should not expect what I ordered. When I also ordered a bottle of water, he again corrected me that I should order more because it won’t be enough for all of us. So, one...
