The Fisherman Lounge — Restaurant in Isle Mauritius

Portion size is very very small for the high prices and average food. A sharing platter of Rs1500 is not enough for 2 pax. See pictures.

The grilled fish was uncooked and very elastic.

Asked the waiter if there's any drinks not chilled and he told me yes, I can get an uncold soft drink. Ordered one and explicitly told him not chilled. When the soft drink came, it was chilled and the guy just went "Pa ferr narien sa monsieur, p ferr chaud laa".

Overall a very expensive bad experience. Would not recommend. There are better options around.

And NO, never coming back again for uncooked fish and "messed up order".

And actually you were not my first review, "out of all the reviews out there", It was one of my few reviews and had to, because it was that bad. Unlike your place, everywhere else they do offer satisfactory food and service.

So you got it guys. When you visit that place, don't forget to give them a shout out to receive the right portion size, as what you pay for is...

My daughter and I recently dined at Fisherman Lounge in Grand Baie, and it was a delightful culinary experience. From the warm welcome to the attentive service, everything was perfect. Fisherman’s Lounge at Super U Mall is a fantastic place for seafood. From the moment I called to book a table, the staff were kind and welcoming. The person on the phone was very polite and helpful, making the reservation easy.

Once at the restaurant, the excellent service continues. The staff, particularly Alvin and others, were friendly and gave great advice on what to order, which made the experience even better. The grilled prawns and seafood platter were fresh and delicious, and the lemon mint juice was refreshing and tasty.
