If I could give 0 stars I would!! The service is horrible specially the manager. She is unprofessional rude and she should not be working there!! I know it’s hard to get decent people to work now a days but anything is better than her!! I went in today to get food for my family and I paid for extra cheese and extra ham on my potato but when I checked it didn’t have any extra. The manager came with an attitude and explained that they had put enough. I have gone to other McAlister’s and I don’t have the issue they put the extra cheese and ham that I PAID for!!! She started calling the store in front of other customers and my self asking how much they put in the food when people pay extra for with her cellphone. Letting the manager from the other store saying she had a customer at her store complaining about the extra cheese. Really?? You are that unprofessional??? Not only that it is un sanitary your phone has bacteria and you are working and touching people’s food! Not only that I asked for 3 more butters and they wanted me to pay extra for it. Read moreI frequent the McAlister's at Berwick location. Last year I ordered and purchased the Harvest Chicken salad with Sea Salt potato chips and a carrot cake from this location. When I received my delivered order it was incorrect. I spoke with the store manager by email. In the email she promised a store gift card for $25.00. I called back after a few weeks because I never received the card in the mail, she advised that it takes a couple of weeks for the card to be mailed out. After two months I called back and spoke to the manager again and advised her that I still have not received my gift card in the mail. So today I went back in the restaurant and purchased the same order and picked it up myself. I asked to speak to the manager and explained to her I never received my gift card as promised. Instead of making it right. The Manager along with another member of the management team tells me after 6 months they don't have a record of emails or of gift cards sent out. Unbelievable!!!! I'm a Sr. Human Resource Manager for a Huge company near by and I will not recommend this location for my company to do business. I will order from the location on S. Tryon before I order there again. Not Good Customer Service Skills at All.

Read moreCareless Curbside Order! I chose the curbside pickup for convenience because I’m 9 months pregnant, it was raining outside, and I had my toddler with me. I waited a while for my food to come out, but I patiently waited as I understand many restaurants are short staffed now due to Covid. My complaint is when I received my order, the girl handed me the food bag carelessly and in a rush which caused the food to spill out onto the floorboard of my car. When this happened, she just looked down at the spilled food, then looked at at me said, “Whoopsie….well… have a great night!” and ran off back inside the restaurant. Now, I understand accidents happen, but I was more shocked and appalled at her snarky comment, lack of concern, and lack of customer service to even stop for a moment to help me gather up the spilled food! So, I had to get out the car in the rain, and gather the food myself which wasn’t the most comfortable task for me to do at 9 months pregnant.
