Grandma's Cabo — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

The restaurant is very charming inside and the atmosphere is nice. The service was questionable. The prices are astronomically high. We're talking about trendy LA diner prices. It was $40 for 2 breakfasts!

The waitress we had was sweet, but spoke no English and this is almost entirely a tourist area. She got our orders wrong unfortunately. They forgot to bring the coffee and when it did come, it was cold.

The omlette my dad ordered had no cheese in it and the waiter who did speak English just shrugged when we told him.

Stay as faraway as you can from this nightmare. We came here for lunch the place had 0 customers so we assumed it would be quick and easy we instantly made our orders. They proceed to take one hour before I lost patience and asked what's going on and then they brought out kids food that was terrible. Then I walked into restaurant to see that they barley started our food. I was irate. I paid for the entire meal and walked out with my family. We ended up wasting an hour while hungry only to go to McDonald's which has far superior food and service. Again stay away...

The customer service by far exceeded expectations. I am traveling from United States and have been looking for “plant-based” breakfast options in San Jose. When I visited this restaurant I was greeted by Mr. Agustin and he was very helpful. He suggested that I order the breakfast sandwich that would be made with all plants of course (cherry tomatoes, spinach, grilled mushrooms, and spinach)…I also ordered the green juice and it was absolutely delish!!!
