A visit to Nemi in La Paz proved to be a delightful culinary adventure, one that clearly demonstrates the restaurant's dedication to high-quality ingredients and exceptional service.

From the onset, it was evident that Nemi puts a high premium on the quality of their offerings. Each dish we sampled was flavorful, well-crafted, and showcased a clear understanding and respect for the ingredients used. The evident care and craftsmanship that went into each dish added depth and dimension to the meal, making it a truly memorable dining experience.

Adding to the culinary experience were the fantastic cocktails that were as equally impressive as the food. Carefully crafted and balanced, they proved to be a perfect accompaniment to the delicious food, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Equally noteworthy was the friendly and professional staff. Their attentive service and warm personalities further enhanced the pleasant atmosphere of the restaurant. It's always wonderful to see a team that is genuinely committed to ensuring a positive experience for their guests.

In conclusion, Nemi provides a fantastic dining experience for those seeking high-quality food, beautifully crafted cocktails, and a warm, friendly atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend Nemi to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience in La Paz. To the team and the chef at Nemi, keep up the outstanding work. I wish you all the very best and urge you to keep delivering these amazing culinary experiences. You are truly a gem in La Paz's...

Fine dining restaurant in a relaxed chic setting. We arrived 10 minutes before opening but the restaurant was very kind & flexible in letting us start the meal early (and not wait in the scorching sun 🌞)

We ordered a la carte & the server was great in making recommendations & helping us navigate the gluten-free options.

Hits 🔥 Sea scallops (fresh raw scallops in a refreshing yuzu sauce with a kiss of heat from the chili) Crab stew tostada (rich flavor of the ocean with a Mexican touch 🌊 and delicious habanero sauce) Roasted beet salad (elegantly caramelized. A signature dish that ought not be missed! Served without granola to make gluten-free) Confit pork belly (our favorite dish of the evening. Makes the perfect taco)

Okay (not “wow” relative to the rest) Catch of the day 🐟🍍 (the fish was fresh and tender, and the pineapple paired well with it) Roasted octopus (I personally prefer a crispier preparation of the octopus. The sides were amazing though)

Overall this is definitely a higher end restaurant worth trying. The ingredients, execution, and service were top-notch. Very enjoyable dining experience. We did not try the dessert as we were not as excited about the gluten free dessert options - maybe next time (the menu changes weekly)!

📝 Rant: The server recommended 2 starters and 2 mains for 2 people. We were starving and went for 3 starters & 3 mains. In hindsight I would have done 4 starters & 2 mains, or 3...

Alright folks, it's time to talk seriously—NEMI in La Paz isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a damn revelation. I’ve now eaten there three times, and each visit somehow outshines the last. This place doesn’t plateau—it ascends.

Andreas, our server each time, is an absolute gem. The kind of guy who elevates the entire experience with charm, warmth, and that sixth sense for timing and detail. The service? Impeccable. The ambiance? Elegant but relaxed, intimate without trying too hard. It’s like dining inside a love letter to Mexico’s culinary soul.

Shrimp Daddy, naturally, stuck to the sea—blue crab that made me see stars, and a lobster tail linguine that could go toe-to-toe with Ask for Luigi in Vancouver. Catherine’s beet salad was bright and balanced, and the sea bass? The most masterfully cooked fish I’ve ever had the honour of mouth-hugging. Sauces, textures, plating—it’s all done with intention, precision, and heart.

Even that nice old Asian guy who passed out atop Coit Tower back in ’23 would rise, dust himself off, and beg for a seat at NEMI.

Five stars isn’t enough. This isn’t just a meal—it’s an...

Wow! This place is truly unique. Their menu offers two options, both of which change every week: a 5-course meal or a 9-course meal, with the option to add wine pairings. We chose the 9-course meal with wine pairings, and we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portions of each entrée. I will add a picture of the menu and our dishes. Nothing short of amazing. We enjoyed every bite. Our favorite - if we had to pick one - was the Clams and Setas Mushroom with butter, lime & cilantro. (Chocolate clams in a garlic butter sauce that was exquisite.) Every dish was a harmonized blend of flavors that pleased our palates. I can not say enough about the service and attention to detail. We are grateful to have experienced Nemi. Chef Alejandro's dishes were flawless! Andres was incredibly attentive, passionate, and thorough, explaining each wine pairing in detail and sharing the unique origins of every wine.
