We've had some great food in La Paz, but were blown away by this place! Had the shrimp risotto (forgot the name on the menu) and it was the best I've ever had- shrimp was cooked not a moment too long and the risotto was perfect too. I expected it to be good because the place isn't cheap, but the chefs there are obviously highly skilled and take attention to detail seriously- the results speak for themselves. Friends each got a fish plate and loved it. No one shared a bite because it was all so good, everyone just savored their own food.
The mezcal mule was a nice smoky mezcal made into a top notch mule. The bartender is also highly skilled.
For dessert, try the palomitas. It's carmel popcorn with ice cream and some lightly frozen fruit. I was thinking they even got the fruit frozen to that perfect temperature where it's frosty but you can still bite it nicely and again noticing the extreme attention to detail when one friend commented on the exact same thing! Don't miss this place!

Read moreCan’t say enough how delicious everything our group had for dinner, dessert and cocktails was. We all raved about this being best meal in La Paz after being here a week! The food was delicious, healthy, and satiating!
We had the scallops aguachile, followed by shrimp risotto and grilled fish entrees. We also had guava and mezcal cocktails and honestly couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was. For dessert we had a unique popcorn and ice cream dish as well as a bread pudding. Both were amazing, but the popcorn dish was so unique and flavorful that it really stood out.
It’s one of the more expensive dining experiences we had in La Paz, but the quality is top notch (Michelin worthy, really) and still a complete bargain compared to US dining. Three course dinner for 3 people with cocktails and tip landed us at about $135 USD...
Read moreExcellent! We had a range of small plates and my daughters had the pasta. Everything was well presented and delicious. I asked the server for a “special” mezcal after dinner and he proceeded to educate me with an incredible mezcal served in a coconut shell alongside crickets (yes, crickets) and an orange slice. It was an experience I will never forget. The combination of tastes and flavors together were...
