Our brief stop in La Paz during a Holland America cruise led us to a promising find - a place claiming to serve the best tacos in town. Eager to explore new culinary experiences, we made it our first destination. Located just off the main street where the cruise terminal bus dropped us off, we got a shaded outdoor table and were handed the menu. To our slight disappointment, we learned that on that particular day, only tacos were being served, and the menu was somewhat limited when we attempted to order an appetizer. Undeterred, we decided to make the most of our visit and started with a round of drinks. My husband opted for a Mezcal Flight, while I ventured into the world of Mezcal cocktails with the intriguingly named "Kiwi be Friends." It turned out to be a delightful drink, setting a positive tone for our brief stay. Considering our time constraints, we opted to forego the tacos as the service, unfortunately, took longer than expected just for our drinks. It appeared that day may have been a bit challenging, with a limited menu and possibly short-staffed, as only two individuals were visibly managing the tables. Nevertheless, the establishment had a vibrant atmosphere, with several tables occupied. Despite the minor hiccup in service, we left with the intention of returning at a more leisurely pace to explore the full menu and savor some of the tantalizing food offerings. The drinks, however, were a highlight and certainly worth revisiting for.

My wife and my dog Bob and I were walking the Malecón on Sunday! We were approached by a nice young lady who showed us menus on the street for restaurants just off of the Malecón! The menu showed NYC style pizza! That caught my attention as we have been in La Paz for almost a year and being Sicilian I was missing some good Pizza! The young lady introduced us to a very nice waitress who spoke Spanish and English! My wife got a Torta and I got the NYC pizza 🍕 and they got my dog Bob some water! Very cool..they are pet friendly! The food came out and my wife absolutely loved her Torta! My pizza 🍕 on the other hand wasn't what I expected! It was ok but not NYC! I realize that we are in La Paz and not NYC...but if you are advertising NYC pizza you better be close! I did get a free Mezcal and I told the person I thought was the owner that the pizza was ok...he said it's a new item and he's working on it. Overall nice dinner but not even close to a NYC pizza! ....I read your owners comment below I think that you either have me confused with someone else or you don't take criticism well. My wife and I were actual customers of your restaurant...We posted pictures....I apologize if I offended you in anway... You have a wonderful restaurant and currently a great staff....but you don't make NYC quality pizza ...that's all I'm saying . If you did we would be bff! 😕
