This is my first time dinning in this restaurant and my review is based on this visit. We chose Los Arcos to celebrate a birthday. Had a reservation placed with no problems.
The parking lot was small and completely jammed but the free valet took care of us with a welcome and friendly greeting. While waiting to be seated we were offered complimentary beverages and snacks so thank you guys for that. The ambience was great, the music and lighting was just perfect for the dining experience.
I tried the Tequila Punch and it was full of flavor and refreshing. The tostada de atún is a must try. They claim the gobernador taco was invented under their roof, I don't doubt it but it is delicious, you got to try it for yourself. I also tried the Pulpo Mongol and it had a hint of spicy but really good. I would give a better rating but my visit had a hiccup, server got our order slightly wrong causing one of our guest to wait for her plate until everyone in our table was done eating. I do recommend this restaurant and will go back hopefully for a complete...
Read moreI came here and I know it's a seafood restaurant but they had nothing else alternative but some arrachera and other steaks. I asked the waiter taking the order if I could order some 3 arrachera tacos and he mentioned to me that he couldn't that he could only bring the whole piece of arrachera meat and order which comes with beans, guacamole and salsa. I waited for my order to arrived after 30 minutes. After my food came it was 4 cold tacos of arrachera, no beans just guacamole and salsa. I then requested them to bring me the entire arrachera and not in tacos. The guy that took me the order came back and said that he had told the kitchen people to make the tacos. The waiter if asked me how cooked I wanted my meat I requested to be 3/4 I then told him but you told me that I couldn't do that. So I just canceled my order. Food arrived way after 30 mins. This place doesn't even have some spicy salsa and we...
Read moreMy fiancée and I came to Los Arcos to celebrate her grandma’s birthday with her family. We all love seafood and we’re excited to try a more upscale eatery. Overall the food was good and the service was mediocre.
I ordered the octopus which was delicious and my fiancées ceviche was good. The portions are smaller but you’re paying for the upscale atmosphere.
The service was mediocre at best. We had a large party and the entire thing felt disconnected. Food came out at random times and our waiter was pushy. Not checking on us to ensure we were happy and then literally pushing us to grab plates. When a waiter normally grabs plates I’m used to them asking politely before they reach over you. Here, they just go for your plate and rub shoulders with you. A little jarring to be frank.
Overall I wasn’t overly impressed with Los Arcos. I thought the food was good but I think this was a...
