I followed this restaurant since it was on downtown with just a bar and few stools, the chef was so into the details and everything was delicious all the time.. Then they moved to plaza chapultepec, and in the beggining it was great, because this new place is gorgeous, the decoration and music is really nice.. But in the past 4 or 6 months, i noticed the quality of the food and service going downhill.. I also notices that they changed chefs, and its not the same.. On saturday we order sushi rolls and they literally couldnt be picked with the chopsticks, because they were falling apart, so we ended up eating them with our hands and not to mention that they forgot our tempura veggies order.. Then some other time we order ramen and it was full of bean sprouts, like more than the usual and so little noodles.. I dont know whats happening with thia restaurant, but it was sooo good, and now it seems so meh.. Its not bad.. It is just not the same; which is bad because they have been increasing their prices but the quality is going on the opposite...
Read moreThis place looks pretty cool; however, the food was not. I tried the pork ramen, and it tasted really bad. Why? The reason is that the ramen feels watered down, but also the pork used in the ramen was not appropriate at all. Instead of adding flavor and texture to the dish, the pork dissolved quickly in the broth, ruining it. The pork used in this dish should be of high quality and should be properly seasoned to enhance the flavors of the broth and the ingredients.
Also, the ambiance is quite nice, but if you come with someone with a disability, forget it because the tables are enclosed in a wooden structure. I couldn't find a reason for this, as it was extremely uncomfortable to get in and out without a disability; imagine with a wheelchair or crutches.
Finally they do not mention 16% of tax at the end of your bill. I mention that because usually food places already come up...
Read moreGood restaurant, friendly staff through a little slow.
The environment is quite nice and makes you feel like you're in a traditional Japanese restaurant.
My sushi was tasty and pretty large, but a bit overpriced in my opinion. Expect to pay about $25usd for two rolls. Some restaurants offer all you can eat sushi at this price, which I would prefer to do and just eat everything I can.
I would be interested in trying their other menu items besides sushi, but I'm not sure I'll actually return because of the price point compared to other restaurants available.
It is in a good location though which makes it convenient for being out with friends...
