The place is clean. The food is average tasting. Sometimes it’s hit or miss probably depending on what cook is working. The tortas are decent. The service is average. Not a bad place to try when you’re in the downtown area of Tijuana. The drinks are pretty good. A little pricey for what it is. Use to come here often but the prices went up and portions got smaller and like I said the taste is sometimes on point and at other times bland. Mostly now I will eat here if I’m in the mood for a chocomilk which is also sometimes a miss. The pancakes are good. Overall nothing really stands out. There is a parking lot next to it which you have to pay for. Just an average eatery in Tijuana. January 14, 2025… Came once again because I was in the mood for pancakes and once again I was reminded of why this place is so average, ordered chilaquiles rojos with eggs, they were lacking flavor. For the price there are better and more authentic places to eat around the area. This place used to be packed around lunchtime but it’s mostly empty now probably due to inflated prices and lack of flavor in certain dishes. Noticed most of the good reviews are from years ago. This place has steadily declined in terms of flavor and portion size. Disappointing...
Read moreFriendly, prompt service. I ordered Huevos Rancheros, and it came out quickly. Unfortunately, it was not a very good ranchero sauce, kind of blended instead of chunky. The beans were very thick, like canned, and bland. It also came with rice, which was fine. I really didn't like the presentation: it was on a divided plate, like take-out styrofoam, but plastic, which made it difficult to mix salsa, rice, beans with the tortillas, and left a lot of food in those compartments which could have been mopped up on a flat plate. Lastly, the portions were very small for the price, 120 mxn.
I know I didn't order their main dish, and they may have excellent tortas, etc. I would definitely try the place again for other menu items, and recommend it on service alone. Spotlessly clean, as well.
I'll update this if I eat...
Atte. Israel...
