I stayed at this hotel twice while in town for dental work, and both times were a complete disaster.
On my first stay the balcony door didn’t lock, which is a huge safety issue, especially for a woman traveling alone. I reported it to the staff before heading to my dental appointment, and they assured me it would be fixed. I returned in pain, groggy, and sedated, only to find that no one had even attempted to fix it. Exhausted and barely functioning, I had to MacGyver a way to bolt the door myself before I could sleep.
On my second stay it was a different room, same issue. The balcony door didn’t lock. On top of that, the heat didn’t work. I called the staff multiple times before someone finally came. They tried to transfer me to two different rooms, but guess what? The heat didn’t work in those either. After 1.5 hours of wasted time, I was tired, annoyed, and had to leave for another dental appointment. I told the manager very clearly that I would be sedated when I returned, so they needed to either fix the heat or provide a space heater.
I came back in pain, exhausted, and sedated and of course, nothing had been done. The last thing I wanted to do was deal with this nonsense, but it was cold, and I needed heat. I called the staff again, and they tried to move me yet again to a room where, shockingly, the heat still didn’t work. I finally put my foot down and told them this was ridiculous. They didn’t even have space heaters, so a staff member had to bring me their personal heater from home.
The next day, thinking I could at least relax in the jacuzzi, I went to use it only to find that it was lukewarm at best. The staff tried turning up the heat, but after 40 minutes, it was still barely warm. So much for that.
This entire experience was a complete circus. I am giving two stars because the rooms were at least clean. If you enjoy freezing rooms, broken locks, and a hotel that can’t manage the most basic facilities, then by all means, stay here. Otherwise, stay...
Read moreI have traveled frequently throught mexico and the world along many years. This is by far, the worst service I have experienced in an hotel in my life. Employees are very rude, they interrupt and speak harsh when asked a simple favour. They don't even provide complimentary water to the guests in the room and if you ask for some they charge you. There are no ice makers and each time you need ice you need to ask front desk. They have a rooftop bar and jacuzzi and eventhough its completely empty they are rude and take a long time to attend if they are asked for something. Nobody smiles and make you feel guilty for "putting them to work" when asked anything.
The hotel room has NO WINDOWS to the outside and the only window is to an inner hall so there is a lot of noise but no light hits your room EVER, even in the middle of the day. For the same reason room gets really stuffy. This is not only extremely uncomfortable but also I'm pretty sure this is very illegal.
This place, employees and managers have no idea of what "Hospitality" means. Never coming back, would not...
Read moreThey get in the Christmas spirit around here early I think this tree was put up late Oct or early November. It looks pretty with s small waiting room. I also love that I have about 10 convenience stores within a third of a mile so I can walk anywhere I go and the if you if you do want to go out I think the revolution is walking distance too but if you have to take a taxi just make sure you if you don't it's best to call Uber cuz then you'll have exact price if you get a taxi you get the exact price and tell them you don't tip cuz he'll give you a low price and then ask you for a big tip better but they're good people and they in the first thing they'll tell you is they can get you anything you want so let them know I don't know all what they're mean in but you know they may be able to get you some free dinners I don't know to be talking about some bad stuff I don't know but...
