The only place in Cancun Paradisus where the HOSTESS was very weirdly unwelcoming and manipulative: she did not let us sit at the free non-reserved table, asking many questions on verge of being rude and finding excuses and rules she seemed to invent herself. I guess, we were not the only ones hit this “wall” of unacceptable ignorant service. We still decided to stay and try the food.
PS We gave a chance to the cook. Unfortunately, she/he did not save the situation. Grilled vegetables seamed to be steamed, pasta… sorry, it was not good. Gnocchi had so much flour in it the potato had no chance to stand out.
We left and went to a different Paradisus restaurant. Will not come here ever again and do not recommend it...
