La Palapita Malecón Américas — Restaurant in Cancún

We tried to eat at lunch time and it was a good time not busy at all. Waiting time was a bit slow specially the last part. When we doing order we are just pointing the food in the menu coz we are only English. I explain to the waiter that I pointed the Package 1 kid meal and never the package 2 still exist that the spaghetti meal tomato was a white sauce that is sour but I know he was wrong about putting the order at first. We don’t speak Spanish or Español only English so we only do pointing the meals that we want so there is no point to get it wrong. We waited over 15mins just to leave the restaurant we taught the supervisor was fixing the issue but its not they just to go the wrong order. I don’t recommend this place if you only speak english because they don’t fix the problem even they understand what you mean too. They just ignore and act normal nothing happens. Tacos were good and burrito thou. Kids meal that i receive a wrong order for my kid was awful package 2 sour chicken pasta - sorry to say but we throw it and wasted the money. I wish we got the right order package 1 spaghetti tomato with chicken and would give a five star if they gave us a right order and accepted that the waiter was wrong or supervisor...

Esta fue mi experiencia en esta sucursal... De entrada todo bien la hosstes hizo muy bien su Protocolo preguntando por alergias y celebridades, número de personas etc. Dejó las cartas en la mesa y se retiro. Punto bueno 2 la meseta no estaba muy atenta a las mesas y me di cuenta que entró una segunda mesa de 2pax a mi derecha pensando que esa era su estación dije bueno esta bien yo solo vengo por una cerveza y me voy. Haciendo que primero atendiera a la mesa que llegó de segundo, me imagino que atendió primero a la mesa pensando que eran mujeres y decidió y acercarse, esta bien no tengo problema yo solo me quería relajar 3 el capitán de mesero se acercó muy amable haciendo touch table y si todo bien 👍ok, otro punto 4 se tardaron más de 5 min en llevarme una amenidad y tomar mi orden. Como nota el restaurante no estaba lleno eran como las 6pm del día viernes 11 de julio pero dije no voy a ponerme en mi plan ya que no estamos en la gran cosa. Lo deje pasar 5 se ha cerca otra persona gerargica no mencio o su puesto ni su nombre complexión gorda de tés caucásico con mucha soberberbia preguntando si todo bien en mi mesa y le dije bazilando. que NO, que no estaba bien que estaba enojado. Mencionando lo siguiente Usted dígame quien lo hizo enojar y enseguida lo corremos a patadas. Dentro de mi dije no voy a exponer al meser@ que me está atendiendo se ve que solo quiere molestar a las personas y le hice mencio que la molestia la traía de afuera no era con el personal, se pasó a retirar y mencionando que siga disfrutando

Algo muy claro de aquí en esta experiencia es la falta de capacitación que dan los supervisores hacia su personal, no es la forma de decir que lo van a correr a patadas por que para empezar, por eso existe una supervisión y esta de más capacitarlos, enseñarles y apoyarlos. Por eso tienen ese puesto y para eso estan. Desconozco la situación del meser@ pero en lo personal no me gustó su servicio y por consecuencia no se ganó una propina. Pero puedo llegar más lejos supongo yo. Ya que la soberbia y la prepotencia de este sujeto arrebazo la mia y siendo más empático hacia el personal. Nota: cuando una persona va sola es más detallista con todo lo que escucha y observa por eso les doy una calificación de 2 estrellas por que mientras unos hacen bien su trabajo otros...

We were looking for a place to drink couple of beers and informed to waitress that we need drinks, and then she gave us a table. After enjoying finnish breakfast(4 beers, 2 vodka shots) we were told that we have to eat something and they cannot give us a bill without the food(????? yeni know right). Understandable if they would be full of reservations, but the tables were empty.

Also we had to open the beer bottles by ourselves, because the service took so long.

I recommend to walk 20 meters and get another restaurant.

They did show PSG, which...
