5 STARS In Every-way!! Highly Recommended. A Delightful Culinary Journey at Patravali Indian Cuisine in Cancun, Mexico. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Patravali Indian Cuisine in Cancun, Mexico, and I cannot rave enough about my experience. From the moment I stepped foot into this establishment, I was blown away by the exceptional service, warm hospitality, and the outstanding ambience that transported me to the vibrant streets of India.

First and foremost, I must commend the staff at Patravali for their exceptional customer service. From the receptionist to the waiters, every individual I encountered was attentive, knowledgeable, and truly went above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. They were always readily available to answer any questions I had and offered insightful recommendations on selecting dishes that would suit my preferences.

The service at Patravali was truly outstanding. The waitstaff were not only prompt in taking orders and delivering food, but they also demonstrated an incredible attention to detail throughout my entire meal. From refilling water glasses to promptly clearing empty plates, they ensured that I felt well taken care of throughout my visit. I truly felt like a valued guest, and the personalized service I received was second to none.

Now, let's talk about the ambience. The moment I entered Patravali, I was greeted by an enchanting and vibrant atmosphere. The interior decor was tastefully done, creating a warm and inviting space. The authentic Indian touches, from the beautiful artwork to the intricately designed furniture, further added to the overall charm of the restaurant. The soft lighting and soothing music created a relaxing ambiance that allowed me to fully immerse myself in the flavors and aromas of India. Whether you're dining with friends, family, or a loved one, Patravali offers the perfect setting for a special occasion or an intimate dinner.

Now, let's get to the food - the highlight of any dining experience. Patravali Indian Cuisine undoubtedly exceeded my expectations. With an extensive menu showcasing a wide variety of traditional Indian dishes, I was spoilt for choice. Each dish was an exquisite masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors and expertly prepared with the finest ingredients. The bold spices and delicate balance of flavors in every dish were a testament to the skill and expertise of the kitchen staff.

One of my favorite dishes was the Butter Chicken. The rich and velvety tomato-based gravy paired perfectly with the tender pieces of chicken, creating a dish that was nothing short of sublime. The naan bread served alongside was warm, fluffy, and a perfect accompaniment to savor every last drop of the flavorful sauce. Additionally, their vegetarian options, such as the Palak Paneer and the Chana Masala, were equally delightful and satisfied even the most discerning palate.

In conclusion, my experience at Patravali Indian Cuisine was exceptional in every sense. The staff's top-notch service, the restaurant's outstanding ambience, and of course, the incredible flavors of each dish, all contributed to an unforgettable dining experience. If you find yourself in Cancun, I highly recommend paying a visit to Patravali - your taste buds...

I'm giving 4 stars on service here for one reason only! The food here was awesome! The restaurant is beautiful. This was as close as anyone could ever hope to get for authentic, fresh, Indian cuisine in Mexico. My husband and I ate here three nights in a row for that reason. The bad experience is this: The first night we called and ordered takeout. I want to pick it uo and they had lost my check and nearly charged me about 400 more pesos than what my order actually cost. If I hadn't read the slip carefully before handing over my card, I wouldn't have known that it wasn't my order. The second night we dined in and everything was great but it was confusing as to whether or not they were going to bring our check or we had to ask for it. They ignored us for a bit after they cleared our dishes, we had to call the server back to ask for the bill when we were one of only two tables dining in. The third night we decided to get take out again. I called and asked to place an order and was told that I couldn't do take out, that they only let people order inside the restaurant. When I asked why I was able to get take out two days ago and saw people picking up take out order the previous night, I was again told, no. I tried calling back about 10 minutes later. My call was answered but no one was saying anything and then they disconnected. I tried again and they hung up right away. I asked my husband to try calling from his phone, he got a new guy that answered and when he asked to place a takeout order they took the order with no issues at all....

Hello Foodies,

I would like to give review about Patravali Indian restaurant in Cancun. We are two families(4 persons) came to Cancun, Mexico to visit couple of places. We wanted to Patravali for dinner but it was closed. Again, we tried next day for dinner but it was closed. However, it was opened next day for lunch then we went and ordered 5-6 items which took almost 45 mins to bring those items. They brought all items together instead of bringing appetizers first then main course next which is my 1st disappointment about service. I felt that the lamb biriyani is made with lamb curry and plain rice. It has lot of oil and rice is not cooked well and it has full oil. Naans are not cooked well. We asked salt couple of times and it took 10 mins bring for them. They even charged for onions which shocked me. However, Chicken kebab was good. Samosa chat and mushroom kebab was average. At the end, they have given someone else bill to us which is half amount what we ate. So, we informed them and paid the right amount. They are not even able to manage 25 persons at the same time . The service team is not good, we need to ask couple of times for everything. On top of this they look for service charge which I denied then they showed disappointment. Normally, I am a person who give tips if food and...

Superb Indian food... and i am not exaggerating, in every trip, being an Indian I need my comfort food. in Cancun, I found this here in the downtown area when we were coming back from Isla Mujeres. and what a great found it was. and when I am saying restaurant offers you great taste, I am not exaggerating. we were hungry after all day trip and wanted to order everything. the restaurant has a good ambiance, the table is bit bigger and at big height and only 2 servers who was taking care of other customers. we ordered Chicken Lollypop, Chili Chicken, Veg Jalfrezi, Butter Naan, Masala chai and in dessert Lychee delight. by going USA Indian restaurants standards, it had a great amazing taste. Chicken lollypop was not proper lollypop, but it was still good. Naan was small and crisp not thick bread. chili chicken was also good and so was veg jalfrezi. Masala chai was equally good. we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here and very much satisfied with that. only thing i did not get was, they do not serve dal tadka. i was very much looking for it, even requested for it. unlike other restaurants they do serve drinking water and gratuity was not added in tip. I highly recommend anyone going to Cancun to have food here. See, if you stay in the all-inclusive restaurant, you cannot get chances to explore like this :P

Patravali Indian Cuisine: Amazing Food, Average Service Patravali Indian Cuisine is undoubtedly one of the best Indian restaurants in Cancun when it comes to the food. Every dish we tried was bursting with authentic flavors, perfectly spiced, and beautifully presented. The curries were rich and flavorful, the tandoori dishes were cooked to perfection, and the naan was fresh and fluffy—exactly what you’d hope for in a top-notch Indian restaurant. The menu offers a wide variety of options, catering to vegetarians and meat lovers alike, ensuring there’s something for everyone. However, while the food was outstanding, the service was average at best. The staff was polite but seemed slightly overwhelmed or inattentive at times. It took longer than expected to place our order and get refills on drinks, which detracted slightly from an otherwise fantastic dining experience. Overall, Patravali is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Indian food in Cancun. The incredible flavors make up for the service, and it’s well worth it for the culinary experience alone. If the service improves, this place could easily become unbeatable. Highly recommended! Don’t forget to review bill before paying. We been charged duplication.

I read all the 5 star reviews and decided to try this place today. I ordered the Butter chicken, Palak paneer and a few naan breads. The Butter chicken, to my disappointment was bit on the sour side. I am used to eating Butter chicken on the slightly sweet side. So finding it sour was bit disappointing. I just don't like sour food. Palak paneer was good, bit spicy though. Naan was made with what appears to be whole wheat and quite tough to chew (unlike the soft white naan I am used to eating back in Canada). When I went there for lunch the place was completely empty. Service was decent, not sure if you really need 2 servers constantly hovering around while you are trying to eat peacefully. The ambience was nice but the chair was hard and not the most comfortable. For almost $600 pesos, it was not worth it! On top of the Okayish food, they tried to charge me double! Everything I ordered (which was only 3 items, 2 dishes plus the naan) was billed x2. I was quite shocked to see the total amount of almost $1100 pesos! They did correct it when I pointed out, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Be very careful when you go there to check your bill properly before paying!
