The Deck Restaurant — Restaurant in Cancún

Stayed here as a part of the all inclusive package from NYX. Food was a solid 6/10 at best, bland, not seasoned, odd tasting beef. Lunches stay the same 7 days a week, dinner menu is different each night with a buffet option along with each dinner. Bread, cheese, fruit, desserts etc.

I was surprised to travel across the world to Mexico and see phad thai, pizza, spaghetti and meatballs etc on the dinner menu (but whatever floats your boat)….the lunch had more of a Spanish flare.

Included as part of our all-inclusive package at Hotel NYX; going to the Deck Restaurant in the evenings has been a pretty good experience. The food is pretty decent and they have a main course menu alongside a buffet with desserts, soup, sides and bread.

What's nice is that they have 7 menu "themes" (Mexican, Caribbean, Spanish, etc.) so the main courses will change every night of your stay along with minor changes to the buffet.

Last night we had a mariachi band play for us as well which...

The view is nice. The pizza is pretty good. The other food I had here is more mediocre. Had a mostly good service the multiple times I came here. I do like they will keep my glass...
