La Europea Plaza Hollywood — Restaurant in Cancún

Great if your wealthy. I went in for an iced coffee and there is none. Only expensive wine, booze, cheese and deli selection. It is outrageous, but if you are fortunate enough to have the dinero to shop there, it is a beautiful presentation. Employees, inattentive and snooty, like they own the place and are 'special'. I looked all over for a cooler or bistro/bar with beverages and would have paid a spectacular price for a gourmet iced coffee. This is a very large liquor store located in the Hotel Zone in Cancun. They have almost every wine or spirit you can think of, and their prices are reasonable. They have many sales associates on the floor to help you find something. They also have a delicatessen that sells up-market cold cuts and cheeses to accompany your wine purchase. If you’re in the market for a tequila or Mescal to bring home as a souvenir, they have one for every budget. Excellent La Europea location. Tip: bring pesos. The store posts two prices. You pay less with dinero efectivo (cash). Superb selection of wine and liquor. I love ginebra and they had some great unique options you won't find elsewhere. There is also a nice charcuterie area and cheese section. An easy bus ride if you're on the route.
