I'll admit it—I’m a food snob. But hey, growing up in the Bay Area, the foodie life chose me as it’s one of the most culturally rich and gastronomically innovative regions in the US. Which is why I never thought I'd be leaving a review for a fast-food joint.

Today was one of those marathon days where nothing goes right. I was running around, famished, and desperate for something—anything—quick. As the day finally wound down, I passed by the Carl’s Jr. I drive past every day, always too proud to pull in. But tonight, pride was set aside.

And honestly? I’m glad I did. Despite my abysmal Spanish, the staff was welcoming, quick, and patient. The service was friendly, and to my surprise, the food? Genuinely impressive. I've been here many of times, but this past Monday was one of the most disgusting moments yet. I found four hairs in my food. That was not the worst part of having an understanding with the manager she decided to be rude and not understanding. She even decided to blame my dog and laughed at me when I said I was willing to do a DNA test if she would like. Never have I had a problem with my dog or had a disgusting response by a manager at Carl's jr. I have photos and a video, which only shows 3 hairs. A 4th hair was discovered while the manager was there. Next time I'm going to Starbucks down the street because they never try to push up on me and blame my dog on the contrary they are dog lovers and are not runner by incompetent managers. Ensenada, at the coast, embraced by a plethora of things to see, do, enjoy! Well maintained, good service, nice aromas. Wifi equipped, & charging outlets complimentary while dining is so appreciated. Music videos create an energetic atmosphere, covered open air patio seating with views of bustling traffic. Puerto Vallarta's CJrs has ocean views of cruise ships, yet I like the vibe at this locale better. Care needs to be taken for the bathroom(s), particularly under toilet seats. Gross.
