La Barbolana Ristorante — Restaurant in Guanajuato

We saw the sign saying All You Can Eat Pizza for $125 every Thursday from 3-6pm, at 3:30pm on a Thursday so we entered. We waited 10 minutes for a server to approach us. When the waiter asked us what we wanted, we told him we were there for the AYCE deal and he told us the promotion wasn’t on. We told him we came in because of the sign out front so he sent a girl to go out and erase it.

Atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant, the pizza looked very good but we didn’t eat any as we were disappointed in the service and false advertising....

I ordered 4 pizzas, the Margherita is how I judge the comparisons to other pizza resturants, there was no basil on it, I think they added olive oil and some basil scraps, it was not good to say the least. I was so disappointed with all the pizzas I ordered. I thought dessert would lift my spirits, a slice of chocolate cake. The cake tasted as if it was stored in an old refrigerator filled with onions or rotten vegetables. I won't be going back. What bugs me is that fb gringo groups said...

Good food and drink but would not come back. We had three pizzas: quattro formaggi, capri, and Hawaiiana. All were good but they were all served separately and 20-30 minutes apart. We all ordered nice drinks, which were all good but it took the bartender at least 15-20 minutes to make each drink. We were afraid to order a second drink because it would take another 1.5 hours to get them all served. Overall, delicious pizzas and drinks but the service was so slow and poor that we would...
