Container Park — Restaurant in Ildefonso Green

‘Container Park’ is where you want to go eat when you don’t know what you want but you know you want good food. I always compare our ‘standard’ to New York City dining and this can be good or bad, but in this case we needed some comforts of home and this hit the spot and reminded us of Smorgasbord in Brooklyn but far fancier.

We ordered four different things from four different places with four different bills but happily sat at one table where everything was brought to us which also I would say is NYC type service. We paid cash, and never asked if they take credit cards (so this part I do not know).

We ordered the Funghi e Parmigiano artisanal pizza from ‘Come a Casa’ which was super fantastic (my tastebuds told me they use high standard of ingredients) and as I was looking at their menu fresh pasta was being hand made, always a good sign of deliciousness to come.

My husband ordered the ‘Bacon Surprise burger’ at ‘Take Up Burger Place’. As pictures it tasted as good as it photographs. The burger was stuffed with decent amount of cheese and served with other goodness (I don’t want to ruin the surprise for you).

Ordered my fresh Limonada with mineral water and for dessert (not pictured here) was the Taro frozen yogurt soft serve with 4 toppings (we chose fresh strawberries, nuts, gummy bears and gummy worms).

We only wish we could have tried the many more restaurants there, if you go please review the food I need to know my stomach is only so big.

Also, we’re not big drinkers but they do have alcoholic beverages among the craft local beers.

We spent about $600 in pesos (aprox $30 usd) for two people here and left stuffed and satisfied.

UPDATE: Went back a few more times for the pizza and tried a few different pastas. The pastas are so delicious, and so good with simple ingredients....

Our flight home today got cancelled and we got to add another day in Cabo. So thankful for that because we went to Container Park.

This is a very unique place. It is basically 8 restaurants in the same location. The property has several shipping containers surrounding it. Each container is a separate restaurant. Slabbed patio in the middle of it with picnic tables.

Once your seated each of the restaurants representative brings their menu to the table and introduces themselves and their restaurant. This is the tough part. All are different types of food but all sound so good. So many choices but the choice needs to be made. I tried to take pictures of all the menus so you can see all the great choices.

Three of us got the sushi, two got burgers and one got tacos. The sushi was unique and delicious. The burgers were hand made good size and delicious. The tacos, well there taco. How could you go wrong with tacos.

This place was clean and enjoyable. So glad our flight was cancelled and we got to go here. No doubt this place is...

Great place lots of fun. The containers are great as each one has a different cuisine. Something for everybody. Fun with a group or family, because everyone can eat different types of foods and all will be happy. From Sushi to hamburgers to Italian pasta.I continue to return here. Just had the Beef Master meat selection. So tasty. The handmade paste is great also. The only thing I'm not crazy about is you have to pay separately to each container and when you have a credit card that means you will have two to four different...
