I was Severely Injured on Rancho Tours boat the Rancho 4 on Jan. 19th, 2021 in Cabo and they left me stuck with $5000 dollars in medical bills. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Their fleet is not safe and their manager Francisco is not an Honorable person. There's many other companies to do business with there in the Marina. Do not use Rancho Tours!! I was getting off their boat at Lover's Beach following Captain Tony's instructions to Jump from the Righthand Side of the boat instead of using the ladder on the lefthand side of the vessel and their boat hit my Shin upon jumping immediately cutting it open. I wasn't offered anything but a gauze wrap from the Captain upon his return to pick us up. Rancho Tours never offered any follow up care or nothing. My leg got Severely Infected and I had to seek care back in the USA 5 days after the accident and found out I could've lost my lower leg due to Cellulitis. I informed Francisco about my injury in February and the need I was going to have for lengthy follow up care and that I wanted him to contact their Insurance Company and he did nothing, he told me he'd get ahold of them and get back in contact with me and he did Nothing. He then he avoided getting me their Insurance Company Information until I called him back requesting it in May 2021 some 3 months later when the bills started to arrive.
In closing if you're from the USA or anywhere else other than Mexico they will SCREW YOU OVER if you get injured like I was. Now I have to take them to court with a Lawyer I had to hire and it's going to take a couple of years to get this settled. I guess if they want to pay for my Attorney, my Pain and Suffering and Expenses to Sue them rather than just pay only my medical bills that's fine. I'll go through it, but let this be a FAIR WARNING to Anybody that reads this. This Company is Garbage and doesn't do the Right Thing for people who are Injured on their boats. They will Leave you High, Dry and Injured!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!! YOU'VE...
Read moreMy family booked a 4:00 PM tour Glass Bottom Tour Boat because the website showed that the 3:00 PM tour was unavailable. Once we got to the marina/pier, we were taken to a restaurant called Herradero to wait until 4:05 PM since the boat or the captain was not ready. At that restaurant, a worker informed us that they are unable to drop us off at the beach which was the sole purpose of our tour. It is advertised that we would have the option to get off the boat and stay at the beach, then take back one of the boats later until the last trip they make. The worker told us that the beach closed at 4:00 PM, where is this information on the website? It is nowhere to be found. The worker also told us that there would be no refund for the tour, only a reschedule. We are tourists from up north, we do not have time to reschedule.
At 4:12 PM, we were still sitting in the restaurant, waiting to be called to start the tour. I had to go outside to look for another worker to ask if the boat was ready for us, to which he said it was. If I didn’t go out and ask, I’m sure we would have missed our tour or gone on a way later one.
The tour itself was subpar though I did add another star since our tour guide was pretty nice. However, all he did was point out landmarks without really explaining anything or telling stories about it. He did offer to take our photos which was nice. The boat itself barely had the “glass bottom,” it was a small rectangular area in the middle of the boat with glass. Our tour guide threw tortillas out on the side of the boat and that was how we saw the fish. I did not see anything in the “glass bottom.” Once 4:45 PM hit, however, our tour felt rushed to end. Even one of the other patrons asked if we were going back so soon. Mind you, we started at about 4:20PM.
Overall, I was pretty disappointed with this tour. I am sure there are better...
Read moreWe did the Bahia Santa Cruz Tour to LaPaz & briefly Todos Santos (from Cabo SL), with Dionicio as our Tour Guide. Dionicio was fun, funny, knowledgeable (of history, geography, geology, etc), flexible & accomodating. With 12 ppl in our van/group (we were the only English speakers), he had to explain everything in both languages, make multiple bathroom stops & accomodate personal requests, with grace & humor. First stop was at Loncheria La Garita- open air restaurant/store/farm/authentic coffee, tortilla making, etc. (AND bathrm stop). Interesting. Then on to La Paz beaches.. Playa El Tecolote was beautiful but WINDY! A few in the group swam briefly. It was bc of the wind that our boat ride to Playa Balandra was cancelled (boat ride $ was refunded). No problem, Dionicio took us to Playa Pichilingue. Less windy, water was insanely beautiful, great place to snorkel (if you have gear). Note: there are no bathrooms & no shade. Next, was a very nice lunch @ Los Magueyes in La Paz, then on to visit the Cathedral/Mission & to the Malecón (Boardwalk). We learned abt the Pearl Industry @ a jewelry shop, then had free time to walk about, take pix & have ice cream. Btw La Paz rules...less crazy, clean, laid back & a charming town. We will return!! We left & the sun set as we drove to the quaint arty town of Todos Santos. Most shops were closed when we got there, but we did get to Tour inside Hotel California & take pics around town before departing. Last stop was @ Agricole Cooperativa in Pescadero...adorable farm/ restaurant/shop/bakery, with some delicious goodies (and a bathrm lol). It was a LONG day 12-13hrs... but, we covered some ground & saw ALOT! We had a flexible group & we applaud Dionicio for making it a wonderful & memorable day. A highlight of our trip this year. Highly recommend this Tour for the flexible/easy...
