During our vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Bean & Brick Coffee Shop became our cherished daily ritual. Tucked away in the vibrant streets, this cozy spot exudes warmth and welcomes guests with open arms. Ronn and the incredible team behind the counter craft each cup of coffee with meticulous care, ensuring a consistently exceptional brew every time. Their commitment to quality shines through in every sip, thanks to the use of the highest quality beans. But it's not just the coffee that won us over; the pastries were equally delightful. We found ourselves indulging in heavenly treats like the apple strudel and savory croissants filled with spinach/cheese or ham/cheese. Beyond the delectable offerings, what truly sets Bean & Brick apart is its friendly atmosphere. Each morning, we were greeted with smiles and genuine hospitality, setting the perfect tone for the day ahead. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, even assisting us with crafting the perfect itinerary to explore Puerto Vallarta. Whether you're a local or a visitor, Bean & Brick Coffee Shop is a must-visit destination. It's not just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it's a sanctuary where you can start your day on a happy note, surrounded by great coffee, delicious pastries, and the warmth of a welcoming community. Our time spent here was nothing short of memorable, and we can't wait to return.

Two years ago, I discovered this establishment, then under Russian ownership, and was immediately captivated by the exceptional quality of its European-style cakes and pastries, particularly the honey cake. I was disappointed by its subsequent closure. However, the new owners have successfully continued the tradition, arguably improving upon it. They have retained the original recipes while expanding the menu and offering outstanding coffee. The premises are consistently clean and well-maintained. Furthermore, the owners provide excellent customer service, readily accommodating individual preferences. We have become loyal patrons and eagerly anticipate our next visit to PV.

This cafe is hiding from the noise and a large number of people, so you can enjoy your morning coffee in peace. The place is neat and tidy. Coffee beans are perfect (please, don’t change it). No sourness, good balance of coffee and milk. I really enjoyed it. The selection of the pastry is small, but I was absolutely delighted with the croissant with cheese and spinach. My husband appreciated the honey cake. It seemed to me, that the lady was very worried that we would like it. Well, the owners don't need to worry. You are doing everything right and you have a wonderful place.

Bean & Brick Coffee Shop: Hospitality Meets Exceptional Coffee

From the moment you step through the door at Bean & Brick, it's clear this isn't just another coffee shop. The warm, inviting atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern sophistication, with exposed brick walls that give the space its namesake and natural wood accents that create a cozy, welcoming environment.

Atmosphere & Service The staff's genuine enthusiasm for coffee shines through in every interaction. Their commitment to hospitality goes beyond the expected – they're eager to share their knowledge about different brewing methods and bean origins, making each visit an opportunity to learn something new about coffee culture. The gesture of offering a complimentary coffee speaks volumes about their confidence in their product and their dedication to building customer relationships.

Coffee Quality The coffee itself is nothing short of exemplary. Bean & Brick sources their beans from carefully selected small-batch roasters, ensuring each cup meets their exacting standards. Their espresso shows remarkable complexity – a perfect harmony of bright, fruity notes balanced with rich, chocolate undertones. The crema is consistently thick and golden, indicating perfect extraction and precise temperature control.

Food & Additional Offerings Beyond coffee, Bean & Brick offers a thoughtfully curated selection of pastries and light bites that complement their beverages perfectly. Each item appears to be chosen with the same attention to quality that defines their coffee program. The display case is a testament to their commitment to freshness, with items rotated regularly throughout the day.

Ambiance & Setting The seating arrangement deserves special mention – they've created distinct zones that cater to different needs. Whether you're looking for a quiet corner to work, a comfortable spot for conversation, or a communal table for group meetings, the space accommodates various preferences without feeling cramped or overwhelming.

Value & Overall Experience While Bean & Brick positions itself in the premium coffee segment, the value proposition is clear – you're paying for more than just coffee; you're investing in an experience crafted by people who genuinely care about their craft. The attention to detail, from the carefully maintained equipment to the precisely timed shots, justifies the...

Bean and Brick left such an impact on me the first visit that I didn't feel the need to try any other coffee shop in my month stay. Let's begin with the most important topic: coffee. I stuck with the hot cappuccino and iced mochachino during my visits. The flavor from the espresso in both drinks was smooth and never bitter as some espresso can be. Always fresh and never too sweet. (Different sugars are provided for guests who do have a sweet tooth) The flavoring added was never artificial tasting. Looking for a pastry to accompany your coffee? You'll love the selection. You'll also enjoy how Bean and Brick will warm up your treat upon request, taking that extra step to make sure your experience is delightful in every way. That's just your in-store experience. Don't fail to grab one of the many flavors of sourdough based breads to take with you. There's a flavor for everyone. Let's move on to atmosphere. Are you looking for a Pinterest worthy location to hang out? Look no further than Bean and Brick! From the moment you walk up to the shop you see lovely outdoor seating with inviting greenery. Step through the doors into a well lit, clean environment. Better than that, you're greeted with warm smiles eager to give you top service. Let's be honest all of that is the bare minimum expectation though, right? Well let's get into what Bean and Brick does for the soul. Something about the vibes brings people in on their own just to have you walking out with new friends. A 30 minute coffee run can turn into two hours of conversation talking about vacations, life and so much more. Bean and Brick isn't just a coffee shop, it's a modern step back in time to when we used to socialize. Please do yourself the service of the experience at this...
