Not bad at all for the price you pay. They have all kinds of rooms in different sizes. We got the triple room which has a queen and a single bed, a flat screen TV, AC, a balcony overlooking the street. All in all not too bad US$30+ a night. Here's what I really liked, the place is spotless clean, they have free water which is great so you're not constantly thinking about that, they have free coffee too. The location is great, just a few blocks down and you're on the beach. What I'm not too crazy about but was not much of an issue: the pool is tiny and cold, the rooms on the street can be noisy from street traffic so if you don't like that ask for an inside facing room. I would stay here again.

Clean! Great view! So many neat places on each floor to talk, tan or take in a fantastic view. Free morning coffee. Nice lobby. Within steps of oxxo bars and restaurants. Friendly staff and they give you a fridge if you ask for one. We didn't have air conditioning but we were not hot. Very loud! On the corner of 2 of PV's busiest streets. Bring ear plugs. 5th floor view was amazing, however you need to be good and healthy take this trek 3-10 times a day, and don't forget your bags need to get to your room as well. There is no bell boy. This is not a 5 star hotel but we were treated well by the staff and we enjoyed our stay.

Hacienda de Vallarta Centro offers a vibrant experience with its central location, boasting a beautiful rooftop and easy access to the city center. However, the incessant noise pollution, from cars passing to live music and chatter, makes it nearly impossible to enjoy a peaceful night's sleep. The tiny rooms, coupled with non-rotating bathrooms, add to the discomfort. Additionally, the small, cold pool hardly invites relaxation. If a good night's rest is a priority, it's best to steer clear of this lively but loud establishment.

This hotel is the absolute worst I have ever stayed in and the pictures on the booking sites are more than misleading ( check out my pictures for a real view of what you get)|The hotel felt like a hostel overall. |The rooms are less than 3X the advertised size , everything appears old, broken, molded, rusted and in disrepair. We had a 3 person room with what appear to be a twin bed and a twin and a half (smaller than a full we have at home) - not what was advertised . Moving through this small room took some choreography. The floor was tile - half broken so walking barefoot could land you in emergency room. The door had no way to lock for security - not ideal.|The bathroom was terrible - with the exception of the shower that was nice and hot the wooden window was very moldy, all metal was rusted and the electrical connection to the lamp was completely exposed which made me nervous every time I took a shower. The toilet bowl was broken and repaired with what appeared to be superglue but probably the worst thing was the position of the toilet which was so close to the wall that I had to come up with a new strategy to sit in order to be able to use it and when going to the shower almost had to jump over it.|The worse part was probably sleeping. The noise - a combination of the robust traffic busses and cars that go all night and conveniently brake and honk right at the intersection by the hotel blend with the shows from the cabaret that is sharing a wall with the hotel. The windows and door did not block any sound ( ours had a small crack in it to match the rest of the room) and even with ear plugs was impossible to sleep. |Other interesting firsts for me at this hotel. When checking in a deposit for the TV remote was asked although the TV was included in the room amenities. The TV turns on but without the remote stays on one channel and has no external buttons other than power.|Hair dryer not in the room and also required a deposit to gain access to one. The safe in the room was a cube that barely accommodated the size of a passport (smallest I have ever seen). All wiring was external , only 2 single outlets in a room for 3 people with all electrical connections exposed and not insulated. No closet but an iron rod with a couple hangers and a wood piece half way to the floor. One little cubby with 5 drawers for 3 people and a suspended sink that only accommodated the tooth brush and paste. |The checkout was also special since I had to bring personally the towels and A/C Remote to the desk to avoid being charged the omnipresent deposit.|For the brave souls that read this far I have a tip - since the Wi-Fi in the room is horrid you can get to the 4th floor terrace, get a nice view and have consistent signal as the Wi-Fi antenna is right there by the lounge chairs.|When bringing out grievances to the manager we were given the option to pay per night as much as we paid per week to gain access to the rooms that were advertised on the site or find another hotel which was also going to be taking some time from our very short vacation.|All and all - stay away from this bait and switch that will leave you with a sour taste despite having numerous other excellent accommodations options in PV if booked in advance. Needless to say - we...

BE AWARE about this place. I want to type and describe everything, but it’s too long, so I’ll just give little list about what we found in this hotel. By the way The photos on EXPEDIA or their website are NOT updated, those are photoshopped.

#1- Hotel does NOT provide wash cloth towels or face towels. Only 1 shower towel. #2-They DONT provide no shampoo, no conditioner, no toiletries. Just toilet paper. #3- super Slow WiFi, it drops frequently. #4- Lots of outside noise and it comes in through all the gaps left unsealed from windows n doors. Couldn’t sleep. But if those gaps and windows were sealed it’d be a different story. #5-Hard board uncomfortable beds “Coil Spring Mattress”, they are extremely hard like boards. Couldn’t sleep. I asked if they can replace it and they did but switched it for another similar mattress. We couldn’t sleep. #6- Bathroom window permanently wide open with no screen. This allowed insects to come in specially when we were trying to sleep. Mosquito bites everywhere. #7- Tiny tv with bad sound, my Laptop is bigger than their tv. Horrible sound. #8- Kitchen n refrigerator not arranged properly. Horrible to access the kitchen. #9- Doors with no extra security locks., it only had 1 doorknob lock. #10- No extra pillows were provided. #11- No extra blankets, those beds were only set with thin sheets for summer, not a warmed blanket. #12- the whole unit only had 2 outlets (in kitchen n tv only). #13- Bathroom door doesn’t closed and don’t lock, it’s got a garden/cage locks. #14- Bathroom only had a sink, a toilet, a shower. No place to organize our toiletries, towels, #15- No closet or drawers to organize or hang our clothes. #16- the pipes from bathroom were smelly, horrible smell all day specially at night time.

Spoke to the general manager I believe he said his name is Hector, and he wanted me to point the obviousness. I mentioned the problems but he simply refused to listen, and instead he only listened to reply back. We left 3 days earlier because we couldn’t rest, sleep, our bodies were hurting from trying to sleep on those beds. We booked another place and left. We asked the general manager Hector for a refund for the days we didn’t stay, he refused and said he had to write a letter to Administrators, then we asked him for the contact number of the administrators / owners/ or anybody above him, and he still refused, and instead he gave me a business card with their email, and they said I can email them, and hector will receive my email and he’ll forward it to people above. I honestly don’t trust him that my email will get delivered with our concerns. So that’s why I chose to use this platform. The ladies and other staff were friendly. It’d be great if this hotel will refund us the money at least for the days we didn’t stay. We have photos available if this hotel want...

I booked for myself and a friend for 10 nights in February 2022. Was extremely cheap so I knew it wasn't going to be fancy. I usually book more expensive places but wanted to stay longer & price was a factor. For those on a budget that want to be within walking distance to everything it is a good option.

The Good: Check in was smooth & friendly. Our room door had been broken somehow on arrival and the lock did not work but they sent a guy to come replace it. Staff were all pleasant & relaxed. No issues. The room was quite large, decent balcony with some old charm. A/c worked well, huge closet with safe, mini fridge, small desk / vanity area. Bathroom was in the middle so the beds were nicely separated on either side for a bit more privacy. Great location as everything is walking distance. Restaurants, clubs, beach, shopping. Cute little pool in the courtyard & some upper floor sundecks. I didn't use the pool but saw some kids playing there in the afternoon & some adults in the evening occasionally. Never looked that busy.

The Bad: Wifi was poor. My friend had video chat meetings & the wifi had insufficient speed and was spotty. He had to go elsewhere to do his work. I purchased a local sim card with a data plan for cheap and that worked fine for me. Our room & balcony faced the street. This area is busy at night so you hear loud music from neighbouring clubs very late. Early morning, large trucks start coming down the bumpy street & it is very loud. I would usually party til 4 or 5am but that seems to be when the clubs close and the trucks start rolling in. Calms down around 9-10am. IF you have difficulty sleeping this room would be a nightmare. I can sleep through anything and I thought it was noisy. Got my best sleep between 9am & 1pm then head out for the day. I think they had rooms with windows facing the courtyard as well. These rooms are likely quieter from truck traffic early mornings. Bedding & mattresses are not great but were clean & the maids came daily to tidy up. Shower: water pressure lacking & sometimes not enough hot water but it worked.

Overall, I think it is a great option if you're not too picky and on a budget. For what I paid, it worked well for me. Was nice to have a fridge for fruit & drinks & coffee maker to get my day started. Lots of open space & never felt crowded in the room. Can come & go freely as its very central. Not a big ordeal to go back to the room from most places as I was usually within walking distance to the hotel. My friend however could not deal with the noise & wifi situation and got a room elsewhere after a few nights so he could work. He would definitely give fewer stars in a review. We both ended up with keys for two hotel options so that worked out...
