I just so happen to be searching the PV area Yelp activity and saw some pics of delish-looking pizzas posted. Bookmarked and completed! ATMOSPHERE: The open-air corner restaurant features a small bar with TV's and beer vats as backdrops and high top seating with flat and dirty seat cushions. The food is cooked upstairs so there was probably more seating there but I didn't check it out. The vibe is American pub. MENU: Apps, salads, burgers, pizzas. FOOD: Not-So Nacho Salad - $4.65 It really is traditional ground beef nachos (melted cheese, guac, pico) topped with a little bit of chopped romaine. The taste was very bland so we asked for hot sauce and ranch dressing which both worked out well. The ground beef wasn't broken up but served in chunky bits that resembled slices of steak and were quite firm. Pancho Villa Pizza - $11.00 This was a huge pie good enough for 3 or 4 to share at a great price. The thin crust was topped with marinara (that my spouse thought was too sweet but I disagree and I loathe sweet sauce), ham, artichoke, mushrooms, drunk onions (caramelized) and herbs. Good but not the best I've had. Caesar Salad - $4.75 USD Caesar salads are hit and miss in PV. Here, it was mostly a hit, but there wasn't enough dressing to coat the leaves. Turkey Burger - $6.50 USD I'm trying my hardest not to eat red meat but man, the patty was horribly parched and didn't didn't go well with the guacamole spread. On top of that, the buns and fries were soggy. Avoid. Ur My Boy Blue Burger - $6.50 USD Screw your health, my tastebuds said as I went back to get a real burger the next day. Received a juicy patty but soggy buns & fries again. I also requested Swiss cheese instead of blue but didn't receive it. SERVICE: Our female server was very sweet and friendly. She helped us move our table items without any attitude after my spouse wanted to change seats. OVERALL: Mainstream pizzas. Definitely trying their burgers next time.

Great place. Good beer but very light across their selection. I got the feeling that the staff were only working there to serve customers (duh I know but hear me out). I visit craft breweries all over the world and when I do, I tend to find that the staff are knowledgeable and passionate about their beers and their craft. Here I found that the staff had no connection to the beer and therefore you didn't get the feeling you were in a craft brewery. Monzon for example just a block away is a vastly different craft beer experience. The beer is still good but they tend to stick with a fixed selection with one or two roving items rather than other craft breweries where they cycle through different beers more often. I'm still giving 4 stars but it did feel more like just another restaurant as I think they are focusing more on the food and less on the beer. As one of the few craft Breweries in the region, I think they need to refocus a bit. There are a growing amount of beer tourists out there these days.

Los Muertos has a nice variety of good craft beers, and the best pizza in Puerto Vallarta. We typically eat here several times whenever we are in the area. As far as pizza goes, they do a great job. The sauce is good, the cheese is high-quality, the dough is tasty and perfectly cooked, and the large selection of fresh ingredients allows for constant variety. The pizza is also a good size and the two of us usually have several slices left over to take back to the room. Additionally, their ranch dressing is phenominal...on par with the best we've had anywhere. Given they serve food later than a lot of restaurants in the area, this is also a great spot for a late-night snack. You can get reasonably-priced pizza by the slice, and their salads, chicken fingers, chicken wings, and french fries are also very good.

So this was our 7th year coming back to PV. My husband and I have loved Los Muertos Pizza every year. We have not traveled in 2 1/2 years due to the pandemic and decided this year we would show our love and tip 30-40% everyplace we had food at. We were excited to return to Los Muertos Brewing. But this year was not good. We stayed in PV for a month. We had lunch/dinner here about 4 times. Every time we had food here the team was very rude. We even made a point to be overly polite and kind cause we know how most people can be so rude. But it didn't matter. They were so rude and kinda mean. One night we came in we were told that they were o on doing carry out. So we ordered . While we waited we say like 7 tables being seated and served FOOD before we got ours. It took almost 40min for us to get our take out when others came after us and got seated and served. We saw our take out sitting at the counter and mentioned to a server that we thought that was ours. He told us it wasn't and 20min later brought the same bag over to us. All the while they served all the tables that came before us. And still tipped 30%. And didn't even get a thank u. I just didn't undertand it. Its very disappointing cause we loves this place. But after this year, we will not return to Los...

I have enjoyed Los Muertos Brewery many times over the years. Always recommend it. My favorite pizza is the Emiliano Zapata pizza. Last night, everything was awful. The service was horrible as was the pizza. We arrived at 5:30, there were customers, but it wasn't packed. Although we got our drinks fairly quickly, we had to practically chase somebody down to place our food order. I was craving my favorite pizza so my friend and I each ordered our own pizza, knowing we each have leftovers. I gave my leftovers away! The pizza arrived pretty quickly after I finally got to place my order. What a disappointment!! The pizza I ordered didn't look appetizing at all, and it was barely lukewarm. The sausage was overdone. The toppings were mostly dumped towards the center of the pizza, most of the black olives in one pile, the goat cheese sitting in little clumps here and there. My friend's pizza that he ordered was good he said, but the drunken onions were on the crisp, crunchy side instead of how they are normally. I'll give LMB another chance, and hope it was just an off day....but it was quite a bit of money for such a poor all...
