I never would have known about this place if it wasn't for a local that took us here. Me and a friend were at a brewery throwing back beers waiting for one of the popular tourist taco places to open up. Ran into a friendly person who we chatted with the whole time who turned out to be a private chef. He strongly urged is to avoid the place we were considering for pastor tacos and give a more hidden gem a shot. I'm ways up for an adventure so we took a long walk through a residential area to end up here. I would have never found the place myself or probably considered it if we were on our own as it was a bit out of the way.

We stuffed out faces with Humboldt squid, fish roe, bacon wrapped shrimp, and several other types of tacos and a few beers. We discovered this little hidden spot 3 years ago and have obsessed over their food ever since. The shrimp tacos are perfect, but when combined with a lime margarita, we knew we had to return for more. Three years later, the food is everything we remembered,. Each time our family comes to Puerto Vallarta we always dedicate a day to visit this treasure of a restaurant. The prices are very cheap, and the food is just to boast about. Since our last visit they have given the place a make over, but the food, atmosphere, and hospitality along with the outstanding service never change. The people here have even come to know as like family and know what we want to eat. I'd put more pictures but my hands were busy stuffing my face with their food.
