This spot is full of local history and clearly a longtime favorite among Mérida’s residents. It’s a great place to cool off on a hot summer night in the city. Don’t expect traditional ice cream—what they serve here are mostly tropical fruit sorbets and fresh fruit-based shakes, all made with real ingredients. Everything we tried was delicious, and the service was quick, even late at night—we went around 11 PM.

An amazing place to get sorbet in all kinds of fruity flavours. The texture is so soft, it reminded me of granita in Sicily (high praise). No icy crystals, just snowy fruit: amazing.
