5/10 - will only return out of necessity and a hope the next experience is better.
I really wanted to like this place. I had read a wonderful review on a digital nomad lifestyle blog who rated this coffeeshop as the best in town for a balance of drink, food, and Wifi.
Service: Nothing outstanding and nothing too lacking. Overall it was a pretty standard Mexican service of having to request attention for your needs. My drink was correct, but my specific request for sweetener was wrong. The team was friendly in helping with the Wifi situation described below.
Drink: a strong and hot Americano. A well done drink and one of the most balanced Americanos I've had in Mexico - flavor and temp. It can sometimes be difficult to find hot coffee. I most often encounter tepid coffee.
Food: I did not eat.
WiFi: Speeds 31/21. Strong, but a headache to log into. The shop did not have a posting with network or login information. When asking the staff how to log in I was shared how to access only one of two networks titled with the shop's name. Then two potential passwords before I was provided a third potential password. Then... discovering the password was provided misspelled. Then... to discover there was another network that we should have been using. So - I spent 15min and the time of three servers trying to log into the correct network with the correct password. Unfortunately, this experience soured my overall mood and likely this review.
Power: outlets indoor along the walls.

Read moreThe restaurant was located next to our hotel which made it obvious to try this place out. We went here two times, where the first time I was served an omelette without bread and the second time a soggy (lukewarm) sandwich. The food is tasteless, all fresh juices are mixed with water and smoothies are made with syrup. Not to mention the lazy waitress that only shows up after 10 minutes and a number of signals. The staff is chatting with no less than 5 people and seems to find this more important than offering good service.
Finally, when you indicate in a friendly way that the food is not good, the waitress starts laughing. One star for how you guys amazed me how to provide a...
Read moreMy family and I loved this place! We were hanging outside of this place talking before we went in and they opened the door for us welcoming us. Beautiful patio and exceptional coffee. I normally need a sweetener to go with my coffee but it didn’t need it. Not in the way that it was already sweet but the coffee itself was so incredibly balanced and well-pulled shot of espresso. Definitely a must! My cousin’s friend is the chef and I WISH we ate here. Miscommunication caused us to miss out on some of the best food in the area....
