The Italian Coffee — Restaurant in Mérida

Excellent coffee served perfectly, plus the food was truly delicious. Don't be fooled by the fact it is part of a chain, this cafe is an authentic taste of modern Mexican culture - the cafe is full of Mexicans and has a great vibe for breakfast or lunch and feels happy and relaxed. It's impossible to give the coffee less than 5 stars - it was just perfect in taste, and on top of that the sprinkles on my large Cappuccino were actually bitter chocolate (not sweet or cinamon), and it was served in a proper wide-brimmed cup with enough foam to keep the heat escaping (not in a tall glass, which is very popular for some reason now). The paninis are among the best I have had - light tasty bread generously filled with an array of high quality ingredients with a Mexican twist....just hit the spot. Also, the waiting staff are super helpful and got my order 100% correct despite my atrocious Spanish. WiFi was good, so planning your next adventure is...

My girlfriend has me walk across the city in the middle of the night to get a small cup of coffee because this place apparently is the only place beside ADO bus station who has real coffee at a affordable price, I will pay double just so I didn't have to walk but apparently not all coffee is the same (😳) what ever! They keep on their masks, it's a clean place, very quiet...

Yeah, sorry, but the italian coffee company serves literally nothing else than coffee and I am still sitting here with my steaming hot latte which I haven't been able to drink because it was boiling while being served to me 15 min. ago. The couple of sips I was brave enough to try so far tasted like nothing, not worth...
