Unprofessional service with mediocre food. Finding a healthy option in Mexico City is surprisingly difficult, and after seeing glowing reviews on Google Maps, I decided to visit this health food shop in the Anzures neighborhood. Right off the bat, the concept felt a bit off—it was more of a bar than a traditional sit-down restaurant. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to order first or if there was table service. The service was confusing and not inviting from the start. It took a while to be handed a menu or even be acknowledged.
After looking at the menu, I settled on the Asian bowl. Getting someone to take my order was another struggle. When a staff member finally started preparing my bowl, he asked me questions about which dressing I wanted but was greatly distracted by his colleagues, completely losing focus on me, which I found plain rude and unprofessional. The staff were loud and seemed more interested in fooling around than creating a professional environment.
I was handed my bowl, and right away, the chicken didn’t look great. After taking a bite, it wasn’t tasty at all, so I decided to leave it aside. The other ingredients in the bowl were decent, but with the chicken being off, I didn’t enjoy the salad as I had imagined. But the chefs and staff were friendly and nice. Food is very decent but do not expect a healthy menu.. once again it is overpriced sandwiches...
