Café Libertad — Restaurant in Mexico City

The shop looks like it's been lovingly put together but my god the staff are horrible. On their phones scrolling Instagram and tell you to ask someone else to help you. I walked to the counter to place my order because they didn't come to the table to take my order after telling me to take a seat, when I ordered to the person behind the bar he told me to find one of the staff to make my order, eventually got my drink but then couldn't get attention of any of the staff to pay, walked to the counter to pay and then the guy who couldn't be bothered to take my order earlier because he was too busy scrolling on Instagram sucked his teeth at me for not giving him a tip. And the drink wasn't nice - the guy behind the counter clearly didn't care at all about making something drinkable either. There were three people in the drinks part of the shop and I was the only one there and none of them could be bothered to help. So yeah... All in all...

An absolute must! Let’s start with the food and drink: as amazing as the wonderful staff. -Loved Sigfredo as much as the avo toast and yogurt bowl. Everything organic— all vibrations were high! Which speaking of, all of my chakras were open after my witchiccino! Don’t think twice— just get it twice! Café Libertad se encuentra dentro de la tienda "The Wizard Shop", y ambas comparten un ambiente mágico y esotérico que hace la visita muy especial y única. La ambientación está muy bien lograda y crea un espacio acogedor que invita a quedarse.

Me encantó que el menú cuenta con muchas opciones veganas, claramente señaladas con una pequeña etiqueta, lo cual facilita mucho la elección. Había leído algunas opiniones negativas sobre la comida, pero mi experiencia y la de mis amigas ha sido totalmente distinta: el sazón es delicioso y bien cuidado. Probé los tres tipos de toasts que ofrecen, y mi favorita fue la de champiñón; la preparación de las setas y champiñones es espectacular y llena de sabor y textura (como persona vegana, se agradece un montón). En bebidas, he disfrutado de sus tés, smoothies, leche dorada, el Rosita y sus cafés, todos con un sabor delicioso. Además, tienen Oatly, algo que para mí siempre es un plus.

El servicio fue muy bueno: amables, atentos y sin presionar. Quiero felicitar especialmente a Abril (o Avril?) por su excelente atención y acompañamiento durante toda las visitas que he hecho.

En cuanto al estacionamiento, aunque no es fácil porque está sobre Insurgentes, hay calles aledañas que funcionan muy bien y cuentan con parquímetro, lo cual facilita encontrar lugar.

Los precios de la cafetería están muy accesibles considerando la zona y la propuesta, lo que hace que la experiencia sea aún más recomendable.
