We had breakfast here today. I felt that we were immersed deep into the knowledge and love that can only be achieved through generations of cooking. I had "huevos con sarape," sunny side up eggs w/melted cheese over tortillas and green sauce (based on tomatillos, other spices, and a hint of spicy). On top, avocado slices that just took me to heaven. On the side, black beens w/crunchy tortilla. My hubby had "Chilaquiles a la Cazuela" and he enjoyed his dish as much as I did. Avoid at all costs. The waiters wait over your head until you order, 2 minutes after they bring you the menu. Then, you order a dish of spaghetti and they bring you a forkful. They rush to take your dish away when you are still eating. The icing on the cake was when we asked for the bill and when we didn't give them a tip because we were not satisfied with their service, in addition to being on a country where the tipping culture is not compulsory like in the US, they swore us in Spanish. Local restaurant, friendly staff, high value food with great taste. If you’re looking for a solid cheap meal, this place is great.
