We went on a Monday night for dinner and we were the only customers at that time.Location across from Hospital Español and close to the Indian embassy. Nice ambience, elegant decorations, no loud music. Good hygiene measures anti-Covid.... table distancing, staff wearing masks, no touch menu ( QR codes only, take your mobile to view the menu , there is free wifi) and plastic wrapped cutlery set. The service was attentive and quick. The food tasted good. Portion sizes are moderate. The mango lassi was well made, the glasses a bit smaller than my expectation. We ordered only vegetarian dishes and I cannot comment on the meat items. The prices are on the expensive side but eating at restaurant costs about 25% lesser than ordering home delivery. The paneer dishes are prepared with queso panela, not paneer. The garlic naan and kulchas were nice but the tandoori roti not so much. The brass washbasins were beautiful, it was a pleasure to wash hands. There was underground paid parking immediately next door but we found free street parking easily on the Anatole France...

Gem of a place!! I ordered food at this restaurant @Polanco through Uber eats. Food definitely lived up to the expectations. Chicken biryani is very tasty with right amount of spice. chicken is juicy and tasty. I saw that their menu on Uber eats doesn't have chai. I am glad I called the restaurant directly to check if they have it. Owner was super sweet and helpful. He said it's available and suggested to order lassi and write in instructions to swap it with chai. :) Masala chai was authentic and amazinggggg. I am definitely going to try their other items on the menu. If you are in the area and craving for Indian food, definitely...

We just ordered from here. The cost of the food was ridiculous. It was $41.50USD/$781.94MXN and it only came with two small bowls (see photo) of our dishes. No rice or anything. These dishes are too spicy to eat alone, so we had to eat them with many tortillas that we happened to have at home. For that price for two people, no drinks or anything additional, we expected much, much more and better. We’ve ordered here before, and knew it was expensive, but the prices feel like they’ve gone up and it’s just not worth it. Plus it took forever for the order to be prepared. We waited so long for this…. We won’t be ordering again. :-(

You will arrive at the right place if you want to tickle your taste buds with Indian food away from India. It is as close to Indian food it can be outside India considering difference in vegetables taste and dairy products. I got the chance to speak to the owner, who know Spanish, English and Hindi and the chef too. You will already get to know by look and taste if the dishes you order but just to mention all the kitchen staff is desi Indian. As I was hungry I order veg Thali and it was treat to my stomach and my eyes. Do pay a visit atleast once if you are around Mexico City. Worth it!!
